I have been pleased with the care my mom got once they worked out the kinks in the system and continue to work on any issues that come up. It takes a special kind of person to be able to do this difficult work and many of the staff are very caring. Mom was dressed and clean everyday which made her feel good. Her room kept clean. My mom was in the memory care where she felt loved and cared for. The staff would come in and give her a big hug and call her "Mama" and chat with her and learn her history. Even a 102 birthday party. Personal interaction was very important to her and her family. My family thanks you all for your dedication.

My husband stayed at Boulder Ponds Senior Living. Everyone who works there is new, and they don't know what they are doing. The care was very poor. Every time I got there, my husband was soaked in urine. He got out of the building twice, and they blamed it on him. Because their alarm systems weren't very good, a lot of the residents in memory care got out. I thought the care was terrible. They had excellent employees, but they all quit because the management was horrible. They didn't like the people running the place. I wouldn't go back there even if you paid me. The people who worked with the patients were good. They were just underappreciated by the people who ran the place. The meals were fine for the patients. They make bland food and kind of overcook it because the people are old. The facility was brand new.

Boulder ponds is constantly short handed The staff are a revolving door of staff constantly quitting to go somewhere better. Management has also been quitting faster than can be replaced. Service is lacking and when help is requested people have to wait over an hour before nurses show up Save you and your loved one’s and go somewhere else

Boulder Ponds Senior Living was really nice. I would've preferred my husband to go there actually, because it's so close to home. It's only like about a year old, but they wouldn't take him because they did not want to administer his blood thinner shot. They had senior apartments, assisted living, and memory care. They showed us through everything. The staff member was very pleasant and very knowledgeable. They're competent people. They had very nice grounds and nice common areas. I was very impressed with the place. It was very nicely done. It was up kind of high and it looked out over Highway 94, but the back part was a wooded area, which was very nice. The dining area looked very nice and it looked like a restaurant. The memory care was kind of a smaller area compared to the other parts, but it looked very comfortable.

Rooms are quite spacious, tasteful, and clean. The maintenance man, Scott is the best! The rest of the staff should take their cue from him as they do not even seem to try. Staff do not consistently follow the schedule; activities that appear don't consistently occur. Food that appears on the menu is not always in stock. My family tells me they are regularly told that they don't have things such as mushrooms and run out of desserts. When my family asks the staff why they just offer excuses. The mission of the staff doesn't seem to be to serve the residents even though they are paying a lot of money to live there.

Boulder Ponds Senior Living is brand new. I went there four months ago. It's a nice facility. I was helping a friend move her mom there. It's amazing because you go to the dining hall and it's like a restaurant. You pull up to the table and they have the glasses upside down and napkins and everything, and the waiter comes out and picks the glass over and fills that if you get coffee or whatever. It's not food on a tray, it's actually like they're dining in a restaurant. They've got a lot of activities, they have a little mini car show in the parking lot, they had some karaoke or little bands, and people playing some instruments would come in. They have cards, bingo, they've got an exercise room, like a fitness room because I think some people actually can come out of the hospital if they had surgery and they go in there for rehabilitation and I think they got a person in there during the day for physical therapy. It's got everything an elderly person wants. Underground parking if you have a car, it's got a car wash down there, unbelievable, it's got a bar, so they can go for happy hour. Her mom said they even got a whirlpool for people, for physical therapy. The staff is pretty good, Boulder Ponds is pretty strict with the people they hire, if they get out of line, they are considered unacceptable, they get rid of them, so they're good in that respect. They want the ability to keep good people in there, which is a plus. It's nice, the hallways are wide, plenty of room for wheelchairs going up and down, and they have balconies going out. Her mom is really happy and almost too busy to visit because she enjoys all the activities there.
