Dad is in the memory care area of Goodhue Living and it's working out good for him. The facility is very new. They just opened in October. He is on private pay right now until the facility reaches a year or two since the time of their opening. Hopefully, by then, they'll be able to accept him into a Medicaid type of assignment situation. The nurses are Johnny on the spot with his food, and he definitely loves the food. He needs physical help and they treat him like family. Literally, they've been fantastic that way. They're so prompt and courteous when they come into the room. They knock every time and they greet him very warmly. When he presses the button, they're right there. They keep track of stuff. They seemed like a well-put together organization and knew what they were doing. They got a good check-in procedure, too. They had a COVID outbreak and had a very nice protocol for getting in, checking your temp, and then letting you in. There was even a time where I had to have a gown put on. That stemmed the tide of that outbreak and they did a good job there. They have planned out game nights and they had a Minnesota Vikings playoff watch party put together and stuff. The rooms are just spotless as well. They do such a good job of cleaning them.
