My mother is getting good therapy at Guardian Angels Care Center. I thought she was going to get therapy for her arm, but she's actually getting it for her walking. Her room is good, and she likes it there. The size of the room is great for her. She likes the food. They have singing, bingo, and church services. She really likes the staff. They're friendly and helpful.

At first moment, I thought this would be a good transitional caring stop for my mom.. she was only to be there for a few weeks.. the nurses aid that was there on arrival, as well as a gentleman from pt and an RN seemed caring and kind.. the room was very good.. in a fast pace, she was checked in, gone over and photo'd for any marks, (yes, as much as I get this in todays day of lawsuits, I found this a bit cold nonetheless..).. we were there day one day two and day three.. after leaving there, and going out of town I got a phone call close to midnight.. she was being transported to hospital as oxygen was critically low.. at 8am I rec'd a phone call the next morning.. I was already at hospital, where she was being removed off life support.. now keep- in mind the time frame.. they called me at almost midnight previous night.. and when I did not respond to their call at 8am, they a few hours later called hospital..wanted to get in touch with me to see if I would give them a credit card to pay 300.00 to hold the room for her, if not they wanted her belongings removed that day, or they would box them up.. I have to say I do believe medicare was already being billed for the day.. might be a bit more caring to wait atleast a day for that call... I understand this is business, but the coldness of staff when I went in that night to get her items was chilling.. so final review, wouldn't take my dog there... not angels or even close as they bill themselves.

Guardian Angels Care Center is wonderful. I know an amazing 103-year-old lady who lives there. The people are nice, very attentive, very caring, and very kind. I’ve eaten there and the food is very good. They have a place with coffee or soda or you can buy cookies and doughnuts. There is also a store in there.

Guardian Angels was nice. I really like that. The staff was great. I have nothing but good things to say about that place. The rooms were very nice, very big, and easy to move around in. My mom was in the rehab area, so it was one person per room. They have a shower in each room and a bathroom, and those were big too. We had a lot of staff, which was wonderful. That was the best part because they always had somebody available to help somebody. The dining area was almost like a restaurant. They set up the table and serve each person what they had ordered. I thought the food was very good. Also, the facility is all one-level. They have a nice courtyard to walk around in. The rooms were nice and big. They have nice little sitting areas that, if they have a bigger crowd, people could go and visit in those areas. They also have a gift shop.

I preferred that my mom stayed at Guardian Angels because it was closer to the family. It was also complete from independent to transitional phase. There were amenities like a beautician and health club. It was very complete. The food was excellent. It could be delivered to my mom's apartment or she ate at the cafeteria. The residents became friends through the activities like bible study, cards and games. Sometimes some one visited the facility to do the activities with the residents. She had a two-bedroom apartment. It was spacious and well-maintained. The property was just beautiful and clean.
