I toured Guardian Angels By the Lake. There were no big rooms, so I think that would put my wife off. There were a lot of little niches, maybe 3 or 4 chairs along the hallways. There were nice, intimate spots where they could chat together without being in a big dining room. There were cages with birds and a wonderful view of the swamp. I have my mom at Guardian Angels By the Lake. Their staff is amazing. My mom's room is bright and cheery, and she's comfortable. She's in a studio, but they also have apartments. They have a lot of different activities every day. They have a beauty salon, a garden, sitting rooms for families to visit, and birdcages so they can see the birds. She's in memory care. She says the food is really good.

Guardian Angels By the Lake was very nice, and the staff was very nice when we came in for a visit. My sister-in-law knew somebody there, so she felt comfortable when that gal said that she loved living there. It's assisted living and they have just been remodeling the place, so it's been very nice. I like that it has a bigger kitchen area with a bigger living room. It's also very clean. I've only talked to the admissions staff, and the one that handles activities, and they were all very nice.

Guardian Angels looks good, very clean, and very well cared for. It looked very nice. They had a big, nice, and clean dining area.

I visited Guardian Angels; it’s nice but not huge, and the lady took me around. She was very friendly and nice. It’s very clean and nice. It has a high price though.

I looked for a place where my mom started from independent living and moved to assisted living or nusing home if needed. And that was the reason I chose Guardian Angels by the Lake, because of this feature. The facility was moderately priced and the reputation was stellar. The aides were very caring and friendly. The nurses were very attentive to her. They communicated with me all the time. The food was delicious and tasty. The apartment she stayed had her own bath. It was just the right size fo...
