My grandmother has moved into Flagstone - Eden Prairie, MN. It was welcoming and my grandma felt like she was at home the whole time, so it was nice. They have a garden. There's good staff and good food. She's doing well. The staff is very nice and kind. The food is very good. She has loved eating with them every day since she moved in. She's in the transitional care and then she'll most likely be going into assisted living after that.

I'm on a waiting list for Flagstone - Eden Prairie. I liked the apartment layout. I liked all the amenities that they had. They had outdoor courts, walking trails, and a pool, and they had several workout rooms. They've got activity rooms. They've got an outdoor barbecue that you can reserve. It just seemed like there was a lot of stuff to do. I had a resident tour me around, and it was really helpful. I talked to a staff member on the phone, and she was helpful. The rooms had very high ceilings. It looked like they had high-quality fixtures. I liked the layout and lots of cabinet space. It just looked very comfortable. They had like a walk-up where you can order hamburgers, or sandwiches, or drinks, or stuff, and then they also had a sit-down dining room, and it looked very nice. They had a theater where they had movies, they had a craft room, several lounge areas, and a library. It just looked like there were a lot of of places where you could sit and visit or read or, you know, do whatever you felt like.

I'm at Flagstone. It's run by Presbyterian Homes. You have to give them a certain amount of money to get in. For a one-bedroom, I gave them almost $70,000. When you leave, you get it back. There's also a $2,000 entrance fee that you do not get back. That is a lot of money to get into a place. This building is only a year old. The staff is wonderful. There is a pool and water aerobics. There is a full-time chaplain. It is right in the middle of Eden Prairie, and you could walk to a lot of restaurants. An Amazon Fresh grocery store was built right across the street. There's a bistro right downstairs that is wonderful, and the prices are fine. I do not eat in the dining room because it is too expensive. There is a continental breakfast that is free. We have a real nice theater. There are lectures from Yale and Harvard, but I have not been to one of those. They bring in entertainment, and that is very good. My number one complaint is we have a small bus and the bus only runs two mornings a month. They will not let me take my scooter on the bus.
