I visited the Sanford Health WindSong. First, I like the location, I like where it is in town. Secondly, the facility in terms of how it was designed, the rooms and everything you have a lot of options as you don't have with some of the other places in town. Everything I've heard about there even when you're at the lowest level the health you get is good, and everyone's very pleasant as you would expect. You can get more services should you need them for additional cost. So you dont feel like you have to immediately go to something that provides more. So, I think you want to stay there quite a while before you needed either nursing home or memory care, kinds of stuff. So, I think that's very nice. They have a variety of programs to keep people active. I'll give them a 4 only because the last time I was there, the person that I was supposed to see wasn't available. The person who stood in was very nice and helpful. My daughter in-law has also interacted with them a little bit on phone and felt comfortable too, so that was good. It's always hard to know, she should be closer to where you already live, or closer to your kids, cause there's advantages to both. I've actually have had a meal in the past with a friend, and I thought the food was actually fairly good. I sort of have negative views of most institutional place. It was much better than that. Admittedly, I haven't visited many locations, but of what I can tell, this is one of the best. And yet they still have rooms. And I think that's because for up here the price is a little higher. But it's not higher than the city, so it's not outrageous or anything like that. But it's nice to know that we're lucky to be able to get a room when we need it. And that's another concern.
