We toured Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea. It was a beautiful building, with lots of outdoor space, and beautiful scenery. It's just nice and peaceful out there. The staff was very helpful, took us on a tour of the building, and were very caring, making sure that we knew what they offered to care for my dad. They have a small gym and a small library.

We have been to Good Samaritan Society in Albert Lea, but we didn't consider it as a potential for moving into one of their apartments. We got a lot of information from them, but nothing confirmed. To get into their community, you have to get an application and be on a waiting list. They've got three different types of 2-bedroom apartments, and they range from 810 square feet up to 1034 square feet. You put in an application and then they will contact you when one of the units opens up. It's very impressive from the outside. I'd say it's a class A from everything that I see. The staff that I have talked to there were very good and very pro-residents. I have been inside the facility once, and it's very clean and well-staffed. Some would be complaining, but it's a normal situation. No matter what you've got, you'll have people complaining.
