My brother is in Town Village Sterling Heights. It's really good for him. They're very kind, helpful, and very understanding. I think he'll be fine there. Every day, there are activities. There is exercising and water aerobics. They take them out on field trips. They're real good. He's independent with assisted living. The activities are excellent. The food is awesome. We did go to a lot of places, and this was the best fit. They have a bistro there, and he can get food any time of the day. They also have restaurant style dining, so it's really good. We're very pleased. They have a library, a theater, a room where they can watch sports, a puzzle area, and a room for birthday parties. They have musicians coming in, and they have an outside area to go and sit. It's pretty well equipped.

My mom is a resident of Town Village Sterling Heights. I really like all the services that they offer. They have transportation, food, and a cleaning service. They offer lots of social activities. So far, it's been a very nice and welcoming community for my mom. I haven't dealt with a lot of the staff directly. The majority of the staff has been very friendly and very accommodating. My mom says there's quite a few people there who are very hard workers. She had run into one or two people who had not been very friendly or helpful. She's had a few issues in the cafeteria as far as someone not waiting on her in an appropriate amount of time. There was one incident with a transportation driver who left her waiting for a very long time to get picked up. Out of all the other experiences she had, the overall majority has been very positive. The place is very clean, and there's been very few issues. I feel like there's a lot of variety. There are a lot of things that the residents can do there, if they choose to. They have movies and bingo games. They had a lovely Mother's Day brunch. I think for Father's Day, they bring in entertainers with live music. They're going to be having a carnival coming up in the fall here, and families are invited to come. They had planned trick or treating events, which unfortunately got canceled due to COVID. I just thought that there's a wide variety of seasonal, as well as regular activities (such as exercises and water aerobics). They've been very accommodating to allow me and my family to come in and use their pool with my mom, so we can swim with her. It has been very nice. They have a gym. They also have doctors that come in, so it makes it very accessible to have a doctor see my mom. They bring in therapists for mental health, so residents don't have to leave. They have all these things available to them on-site, if they choose to use the doctors that come. They even have motorized boat races. They just come up with a lot of neat things. They have craft days. It's a really nice community. With the research that I've done now and experience with the other places, they offer a little more bang for your buck. As far as the research I've done, they seem to be a great value for what you get.

My mother moved into Town Village Sterling Heights. It's very nice and very well organized. The staff is very nice and very helpful. The food is very good; it's probably the best thing. Her apartment is very nice, very clean and quiet. They seem honest and they care about the residents. They have a lot of amenities and a lot of activities. They have visiting doctors, podiatrists, and all kinds of doctors. They have a TV room and transportation. The dining area is very big, very clean, and it looks like a hotel. Upkeep and maintenance are very good. It's very clean. It's expensive, but it's a good value. The meals are included.

I have lived at Town Village for 7 years. The facility has done nothing but go down hill ever since. Common area furniture is fraying and getting drab. Carpeting and wall colors no longer go together. The artwork that was on the hallways has been replaced by pictures of planes, cars and music (ie. microphones, flappers, guitar frets). The dining room has had all noise absorbing features removed (i.e. carpeting and drapes). Fresh flowers on the tables along with tablecloths and cloth napkins are things of the past. Food is repetitive and served overcooked and cold. Resident meetings that were monthly and allowed for complaints and issues to be brought up and discussed are no longer scheduled. Landscaping is dying and not being updated or cared for. Sprinklers have not worked for a couple of years. Entertainment which took place twice a week is now spotty. What has increased EVERY year - rent!

The only negative part of Town Village Sterling Heights and the reason we didn't go there is it's a much bigger facility than the place we chose. My mom is somewhat less mobile and it being as big as it was, she would be transporting herself a long ways. The food was great. They've got the same type of craft activities and they even got a pool and a spa there for the people. It's a very nice place. It's basically the same price range. I couldn't give them any bad ratings on anything. The only thing was the amount of mobility that my mom has would make that place more difficult for her to be in. They are definitely leaning more towards independent individuals than people that need assisting. The dining room was more of a high end type of restaurant setting. You went in there and people took your order. The staff was great, answered any questions, took us around, and showed us the entire place. They were helpful as they could be. I have nothing bad to say about them. The reason we didn't go there was the fact that my mom would have to transport herself quite a way down the hallways. The dining room itself and the people that I saw eating there all seemed very happy with what they were eating.

Town Village Sterling Heights was very nice. It's beautiful. The rooms were good and spacious. It was nice all around. They invited us to eat, but we didn't have time. We liked this place, but my parents just weren't ready to move yet. It's a very nice atmosphere. The person who gave me the tour was personable, friendly, clean, and nice. I looked at independent living, but they also provide the other services if you want to pay extra for them. They had activities like cards, a movie theater, and games (like bingo).

My father-in-law was in Town Village Sterling Heights and we like it there. He was in independent living and moved to memory care. The administrator was excellent and caring, the staff was good, and the food was good. The building was clean and new, and they had libraries. They did the laundry there for the memory care part, we didn't do it. For activities, they had music therapy, and they bring a dog in for therapy. It was expensive.

I love Town Village Sterling Heights. I've been here for two weeks now, and I have a one-bedroom apartment. What I like the most is the pool because I love swimming. They're very nice people. They took me in on short notice. The carpet in my apartment was new and it was freshly painted. Everybody's nice here. Tomorrow, they're going to go to MGM. I go to bingo, and there are arts and crafts and card games. If you want, they can keep you busy basically from eight o'clock in the morning to at least six o'clock at night, and that's what I like about this place. They are very helpful, they are very understanding, and they worked hard with my daughter who organized everything for me to be here after the hospital. They are great. The food is very good. They have a big variety, and the salads are not cheap quality. They have fruits and vegetables, the meat is done very well, the fish is excellent, and the burger and fries are very good. For breakfast, sometimes I take vegetable omelets, and it's very well done. The salad dressings are homemade. Everything is tasty so far -- nothing really fancy, nothing really cheap, and everything is fine. It's an old place, but they took very good care of it. I can see a lot of the furniture in the hallway, not inside the apartment. Their service is very good. Somebody came and helped me get organized and move some furniture. Maintenance is there all the time. I had pneumonia for three months and I woke up with a fever. I have a necklace alarm, and I just paged them; they came straightaway and helped me. They called the doctor, got me some water, and took my temperature. I was impressed with that. They're very welcoming. I'm happy here. The building is average, but very clean. I have somebody come and clean my apartment, and that is the only thing I do not like. She basically hasn't done anything yet. I am allergic to dust due to my asthma, and I only had plastic chairs that are very easy to move. I keep things out, and there's nothing under the bed. They can easily vacuum, but she did a very poor job. They have exercise in the morning, games, bowling, cards, and bingo. They had a ceremony for Memorial Day. They had a nice band and everybody was happy. The pool is very clean. There's a bistro that's open if you don't want to go to the restaurant. It's worth it so far. They take you to Meijer, Kroger, Walmart, and doctors' appointments.

We moved into Town Village Sterling Heights. We like it quite well. The room is very nice. The food is not quite as good as we had hoped, but it is probably because the dining room is closed, and we are getting all our meals delivered to our room. The staff is very nice, and the place seems very well maintained. It is close to where we had lived, so we are still able to use the same doctors, do shopping at pretty much the same stores, and it was priced quite well. My wife is still in a wheelchair, so we have not availed ourselves of the activities yet.

I had put my name on the waiting list at Town Village hoping to go there. I was impressed enough with it. I liked the apartment. The lady who showed us around and took us on a tour was extremely helpful; she answered all my questions. We had steak for lunch and it was very nice.

The people at Town Village Sterling Heights was really good. They answered all our questions, and everything they said they were going to do was accurate. They're very thorough and called me back. They've been really good so far. They have a pool for water exercises, they have a gym, lots of activities like bingo, yoga, cards, they have movies, sing-alongs, and lots of fieldtrips and outings that they do. They pretty much have something to do every hour for the majority of the day. They have a nice dining room, a hair salon, and grounds with trees and flowers. They keep everybody active instead of just having people sit in their rooms all day. When you eat in the dining room there's always somebody sitting at your table, so they can talk and make friends. They also have crafts, med stations, church, spiritual shops, shopping and so on. The place itself is very nice, clean, and big.

I've lived in Town Village Sterling Heights for three years now. The food is very good, and that's one of the biggest attractions here. The administration is very good to me, but the company that runs the home care is short of help all the time, and I sometimes require two people instead of one. The staff has been very good to me, I can't complain about that, and they keep the place clean. The dining area is comfortable, nothing fancy, and they also have an exercise room.

Town Village was very nice, and I liked that. The people were very nice, their food was very good, but there's no washer and dryer in the room. The 1-bedroom was small. The dining area was very nice, and they were doing food demonstration. I know somebody who lived there, and she's very happy there. The staff seemed very friendly, and the director who took me around was amazing.

Since my parents moved in things have deteriorated. The food is awful, overcooked, small portions smothered in who knows what. There are odors coming from different areas. Residents in motorized carts run into you or over your feet. The pool is cold for the older residents. House keepers don't do much of anything..

Town Village Sterling Heights is the place we ended up going with, and mom is moving in on Saturday. When you first walk in the door, it is very open, not very old-fashioned, and you have the modern amenities. There is a jukebox when you walk in, so you have activities going on right when you walk in the door. There was a flat screen TV set up, and there were people watching TV. There is a pool at this place, so there were people in the pool swimming, there were people in the hot tub bathing, there was a whole group of men and women in the exercise room, and they had just tables and chairs set out and they were building airplanes. There were all kinds of activities going on. There were a couple ladies getting their hair done in the salon, so it was almost like being in your own mini community where all of the activities were going on at the same time, and so that was really the clicker. The other thing is when you move in they will paint the walls, replace the carpet, and change the flooring out for every resident. They had all new flooring and very modern kitchens. It was by far the cleanest place we looked at of all. And the menu was not what you see in all the other places; the menu was like full service menu, not just sandwiches, and it was appetizing. They really were welcoming to all the relatives, so “bring your family, call us in advance, and make reservation in the restaurant.” We walked down the hall, and there were people playing Wii bowling in one room that we walked by and they were trying to get mom in there to play Wii bowling with them, so the residents were really outgoing. They also put name plates outside of everybody’s door, so it really gives out a personalized feeling. She is really excited about moving in there. They do have a lot of activities and a lot of things going on. It was just before dinner time when we arrived, and there were maybe 30 or more people milling about in the hallways just sitting in little circles and talking. It just had a whole different feeling. The other thing is location. They are really close to where mom lives today, so it is convenient. It is a stone’s throw from Beaumont Hospital, which is the one mom goes to and where her doctors are, and it is right next to Walmart.

We went to Town Village Sterling Heights. I toured them for my mother-in-law. It was nice. What I didn’t like about it was that it was too easy to get lost. The staff was wonderful. They had everything going on. They had exercise going on. They had a painting class going on. The food was wonderful. My mother-in-law said they treated her like a queen.

Besides the people, I liked the apartment at Town Village Sterling Heights. I'm looking forward to playing cards and bingo. It had a very pretty area outside to sit. They do trips and take the residents to appointments and shopping. They serve breakfast and either lunch or dinner. The staff was very easy to approach and very knowledgeable. I chose the regular apartment with a regular kitchen. The place had a pool, a small store, and a workout room, and it had a number of rooms to play cards, watch movies, watch TV, or just sit and talk.

Mother is living in Town Village, and I decided to increase the support that she’s getting there to see how it works out. They don’t provide assisted living themselves; they have a company that comes there if you hire them. I don't have any problems at all with this facility. The staff is very helpful, very kind, and very dedicated. Any time I’ve had a concern, they addressed it immediately. She has early stages of Alzheimer's and was kind of isolating herself. She’s on the third story and the hallways are real long. She has COPD, so it’s hard for her to go anywhere. I’m a little bit worried about that because of the way the building is set up, but it’s a beautiful facility. The rooms are very nice and very well maintained. She has a one-bedroom, but they also have two-bedrooms. The swimming pool was another reason why I decided to keep her there because it’s one activity that my mother will consistently engage in. She has a cat that she loves and able to keep there.

The staff and facility of Town Village were wonderful. It was more expensive but very nice. That was a top one on our list. The dining room was like a grand ballroom; it was beautiful. They also had a theater room, a library, a nice swimming pool, and a hot tub. It had an exercise room, a little gift store, and a place for residents to get their hair done.

Town Village also had a pool, and it was very nice. It was also excellent the both times we were there to visit. However, they did not have a washer and dryer in their apartments. They had a lovely indoor pool and spa. The staff was very nice and very accommodating while we were there. The residents were very friendly and very welcoming. It was very clean and impressive.

Town Village is near where my mom owned a home and lived for fifty years. It has been really good because it is a very nice community. It is a little pricey, but other than that, it is really good. The staffs are excellent, and everybody here is really good. They offer three meals a day, and the food is very good. The size of the room is very good too. It is plenty enough room for my mom. My wife and my sister chose this one. They brought my mom here to look at it, and she liked it. This place has just about everything that you might need. It has a swimming pool, a large workout room, a crafts room, and a party room. For independent living, this place probably has everything that anyone might need.

Our visit at Town Village was very good. The staff all seemed very nice and really interested in their jobs. They were also enthusiastic. I was able to look at two rooms, a one bedroom and a two bedroom and we are interested in the two bedrooms because the other one is a little too small. We were able to eat there and the food was really good. They have a menu and they have three meals to choose from and if you don’t want those you can just order a cheeseburger or a hamburger; you can go off the menu. They have a pool, a craft room, library, a little store. They also have an activities director that takes people to lunch once a week if they want to go. They have different outings that they take them if they want to go. They have a little TV station. You can be as involved as you want to be.

I went to Town Village about one or two years ago and they toured me around the place. The facility was nice and clean. The staff are really nice and considerate. I had lunch there and it was really nice. The food was delicious. I talked to the couple that I sat with and they were nice.

My mother lives at Town Village Sterling Heights for two months now. I decided to have her there because they are able to meet her needs and the price is right. The place is immaculate clean. The staff are wonderful and they continue to treat my mom very well. Anytime she needed anything from maintenance they've been right there. They even have a housekeeping service that comes every other week and cleans her apartment if she wants. They have lots of activities like bingo and social events. They have a service that provides transportation for shopping and doctor's appointment. The people from the kitchen have visited her and they have weekly meetings regarding the menu. So far she is very happy. They do give people the opportunity to voice their opinions, make suggestions, and evaluate different things at the facility. The manager is very open, approachable, and visits the residents constantly. I have not found a problem yet.
