My friend is at American House in Spring Lake and its a very nice community. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. The staff treats you very well, are very informative, help you out, and they seem very caring. The place is modern and the rooms are a nice size and private. It seems like they have all kinds of activities two to three times a day with crafts, they get their nails done, and take them on trips.

American House Spring Lake was nice. It had a two-bedroom-two-bathroom that it could have gotten there, but the view out the window kind of turned me off because it was overlooking the parking lot. I don't want to spend my days looking at a parking lot. The apartment itself was great, but the view was horrible. The person I spoke with was very patient because I don't move fast because I use a walker. She was very patient and very thorough about what was available. I got the chance to see most of the facilities, and they seemed to be nice. Everything looked good. She had put some effort into my visit to the point that she had a little gift bag for me with some stuff in it. I saw the weight room, and they had a laundry service, too.

I liked the American House Spring Lake. I thought it was nice. I liked the location and the facilities. The person I talked to was also very nice. The rooms were spacious and very homey, and I liked the views out the windows. She also showed me where they eat, the library, the activity room, and the exercise room. She showed me a little bit of everything and kind of explained the different activities they had. The facility was very well maintained. Everything was clean and looked very good. Once a week, they have a bus that will take them out and about.

I thought American House Spring Lake was nice. It was clean and friendly. The apartment included a bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room. It has a stove and a dishwasher. The staff who took us around was very friendly and informed us about a lot of things.

American House Spring Lake didn't feel like a community. It kind of felt impersonal. The buildings are not connected. Each building houses something different. The independent ones are all connected with like a walkway, but the memory center is not connected to the assisted living ones or whatever. All the memory care people are in one area so that was good and it's a locked-in facility, but I was not impressed at all. When we walked into the unit to see the memory care place, every single one of the staff members was standing behind the desk talking to each other. When we came back down the hallway, they looked up, saw us, and ran out from the desk and sat down next to a resident. I can't give them a good rating. The person that went through all the questions with us seemed like she was bothered by us being there. The facility looked clean. It just didn't look like there was a lot of staff interaction. It didn't feel like a welcoming community, but on the independent side, we met a couple of people working on puzzles and they were friendly. The staff during the tour was professional, but she wasn't very friendly. She answered my questions, but she didn't sympathize well with us. I walked through the dining area, but I didn't have any food when we were there. It looks like they have good choices. There was a bus that showed up that was loading some people up to do like a tour in the neighborhood. For memory care, they provide a bed, a dresser, and the basics, so that was helpful, too. There was an outdoor space. From the dining area, you could get out that door and then it kind of has a patio-looking thing all the way around with tables and chairs. We didn't go out there because it was cold. The room had a kitchenette kind of thing in it. It had a sink and some counter space. There were lots of nice views out the window. It's a pretty setting.

We went to American House Spring Lake. We love the place. There are a couple of things we liked about it the best. It's all on one level. The other thing is they have I believe five or six buildings, but there are only 20 residents per building. So it's not like they're overwhelmed when they go down or go over to get their meals and stuff like that. Erika was very professional and very helpful. We had no negatives about it at all. And if our situation changes, that's where dad's going. She showed us two different apartments, one studio and another one a suite, a one-bedroom. The two-bedroom suite has appliances in it. But, in the one-bedroom suite, she said you could bring a small refrigerator and a microwave. And with the studio, you could still bring a small refrigerator and a microwave. But you'd have to bring it. It has more like a park setting, where they have sidewalks where you could walk between the buildings.

American House Spring Lake was a wonderful place. My mother liked it a lot, so we're having some discussion over it. We are trying to see what we're gonna do. The designs of the apartments were wonderful. They're spacious, and they looked like home. It's not just one room, so it's really nice. We actually spent some time in the independent area because that was the one that seemed to fit my mother's needs right now, but we were in the assisted living. We saw a couple of different places, and that looked very adequate for anyone that would've needed it. We met a couple staff members, and they were very friendly and very informative. We met one of the chefs, and she was really informative, too. I was really satisfied with this place.

The tour at American House Spring Lake went nice. The lady, Erica, was really nice. I told her that I'm having surgery on the 24th of February, and I should be ready to go this spring if something comes up. I want the first floor, if that's possible. She's going to keep me in mind for that. I saw the independent living, and it was nice. Except for the price, it would be everything I would want as long as I'm on the first floor. It'll be much more beautiful in the summer when everything's blooming and green. The inside was clean and well-kept. The room I saw downstairs was a little bigger than the other petite bedroom. It's a little bigger, and it's just slightly higher than what she quoted me. It was nice and had everything I would need. The lady that toured me was really nice and really thorough. I saw some of the menus, and it looked pretty good. The dining room was very pleasant and clean. The room where they do the activities was also nice.

I toured American House Spring Lake. The building was nice. I did not see as many people out in the halls or interacting with each other. I didn't see the staff interact as much with the residents, but it could have been the time of day. They didn't serve dinner. The apartments were adequate. They had pretty much the same features in them, but they were quite nice. I wasn't as impressed with the staff.

American House Spring Lake was clean, it was adequate and it was pleasant. Overall, it was adequate and neat. There's nothing I didn't like about it. The staff is very pleasant, adequate, and very thorough. Their amenities seem to be complete. They have food, entertainment, and pleasant surroundings. They have a game room, there are different buildings and the grounds are also pleasant.

I went to American House Spring Lake, and it was very nice. The people were very nice there too. Everything was very clean. They took me to an apartment, and they showed me the dining room. The only difference with the other place was the location; this one was farther away. The lady who showed me around was very nice. They had a beauty shop or a barber shop.

We saw independent living at American House Spring Lake and also assisted. It's very modern, clean, and has lots of activities you can take part in. For us, it's too expensive, but it's a beautiful facility. The person giving us the tour was very nice and knowledgeable. They gave us a sheet of what they served, but we didn't eat anything, though they gave us a pie when we were done. They have exercise, lots of activities and places to go, they have a bus, and all these things for people to do.

American House Spring Lake had gorgeous apartments and the people were very nice, but it's a little too pricey for me. It's got four different divisions where if a person gets sick, they go to the next level, and they don't leave the premises. They had memory care, geriatric care, and sometimes hospice comes in. We saw 2 and 1-bedroom apartments, and they were all nicely laid out and very clean. I wouldn't complain moving in there. They all seemed pretty active, very happy and very cheerful. The staff and the manager were very nice. He even gave me an apple pie. He was very informative and answered all our questions. They showed us a movie room, a library, a sitting room, and place where people play pool. They're very well equipped.
