My mother is in Orchard Grove, and it's going well so far. It's open, very clean, and it seems to be organized. I think they may be short staffed, but they do a good job with what they have. They have a happy hour on Friday nights, they have some music, I see several bands come in every Friday and Saturday for old-time music, sometimes they have little games in the private areas for someone not as needy, and they have theme nights sometimes. One night was roaring 20's, they all had hats, they had themed decorations, and that was kind of cute. She is in a dual facility, which provides rehab and long-term care.

Had my mother on the skilled nursing unit for less than 48 hours. Took her back to our home because in that time she had a fall with injury AND developed a bedsore. Sure the place looked great but as a nurse of over 30 years I will tell you that a pretty environment doesn’t equal good care. Certainly not here. Nursing Supervisor was dismissive and rude.
