My mother was placed at Symphony to rehab a broken leg (she is 80 years old). The day she got there the staff forced her to go to the bathroom in a bedpan (her leg is broke she could not lift herself to hit the pan and it was extremely painful for her to move. She is also is on life or death medication. She asked for her meds and was told the Pharmacy was closed and they couldn’t help her. She had to call my dad and have him bring her meds to her. She ended up taking the pills late (she has to take them on a schedule). Consequently, the next day she had a seizure while in PT. The PT trainer was not trained and called my brother instead of calling for help or calling for a doctor or staff or even 911. Then, when it was time for her meds again they gave her the wrong medication which could have caused her to die. Again, the staff would not listen to her and forced her to take the wrong meds. Then they took all her meds and poured them out of the bottles and put them in a baggy. This place is dangerous and should not be allowed to operate. We have moved my mother to another facility (she was at this place for 48 hours and all this happened). Also, while arrangements were being made to move her the director told her she would not be treated any better anywhere else and all this happened because they were short staffed. Short staffed is not a reason to put anyone’s life in danger. Please do not put your loved one here.

We've toured Symphony Linden and it was nice. The staff was very helpful and the food was wonderful. They had a gym, a lounge, and a room where you could go and watch movies. It was nice. The place itself was clean, there wasn't anything that was not nice about it.

This facility promised much but offers sub standard care and poor quality food. Patients lay in bed hours waiting for diapers to be changed Staff is unresponsive to repeated requests to change level of care or responsiveness

Family has submitted 4 reports on the filth in room and bathroom. Food has been terrible. Always short staffed, for the price paid totally unacceptable! Laundry always missing or someone else’s. If you do not visit regularly,I don’t know how it would be. (Especially during the COVID restrictions). Very disheartening. Considering moving

Do not put your loved one in this place. They are understaffed, the food is slop, no fresh produce provided, rooms go weeks without being cleaned, very little socializing provided so residents are very isolated. The management is useless, even at the corporate level. Terrible, terrible place.

The food is minimal, cold and institution food. Severely understaffed because required 12 hour shifts (not management - just aides.) Rooms are filthy as overworked aides are required to clean since they fired the cleaning company to save $. Not a good place

My mom is here. She pays about 5000 dollars for her room and about 500 more for her meds. The food has become terrible. Cold eggs in the morning. Yum! The staff keeps changing so residents are always not knowing what is going on. Frightening for them. I have asked staff questions and the answer usually is " I don't usually work in this section. Overall I think they have gone cheap on labor resulting in the bottom of the barrel. For the money we pay for not much service. We might have to move my parent out soon if things don't get better

After unfortunately losing a leg to a virus, I was fortunate enough to spend 100 days being cared for and trained by all the staff here in Linden. From my first contact with Aimee explaining the facilities capabilities until the tremendous send off from my "New Family" with tears in my eyes I have nothing but respect and admiration for their help to start to get my life back together. The nursing staff has great diverse knowledge that made such a difference in my healing, the aids, and everyone from the staff kept me moving forward every challenge. I've made friends here that will make the balance of my being full of smiles. The physical therapy employees truly cared for my improvement and honored me with quite an ovation for my first step. All of you mean so much to me and I truly love the work and encouragement Jennifer, Patty and all of you gave to this old man in his time of need. Heidi, Ben, Scott, Jenny and all I look forward to visiting soon when I acquire my permanent leg. You folks are all truly caring individuals and I found the facility top notch!!

Caretel Inns of Linden has three different types of care. It has assisted living, a memory care unit for people with dementia problems, and another area for skilled nursing. They’re different modules in the same location. The actual one I saw was the assisted living. The staff was very good and very competent. They knew what’s needed for senior citizens. The dining area was very good. They have specials every day or, if you just want the same thing every day, there's a set menu of things you could choose from. They have a movie theater, a little store where you could buy stuff, a hair salon and you could get your nails done there. The family members can get a pass to go directly into their parents’ or family member’s place. You can visit at any time and stay there with them. They’ll get you a rollaway bed, so you could stay with them. The parking was very close because it surrounds it. They have little courtyards and lots of flowers around, and the maintenance crew is good.

Caretel Inns had everything we need. The place was only two years old, and that was a big factor. There were no bugs in the place and that was a good thing. The staff was pleasant and observed cleanliness. They treated their residents well. The apartments had one bedroom and a kitchen in, where the residents can cook. The residents can also go down to their dining room. They have 3 meals a day and snacks. My wife was a trained chef, and she said the food was good. During our visit, there were residents playing cards outside. They had a pool for residents to swim in. They had three vans that picked people up to go shopping. We walked all over, and there were a lot of activities going on. Their security was very good. They had cameras all over. They had slide keys like in hotel rooms. Their price was $2800 a month, and it was reasonable.

They have a very nice facility where my mother was originally at rehab, and they have a memory facility. They were open and friendly. They were always checking if we needed anything. Someone was always moving around the facility, checking if there was anything that anyone needed and saying hello to people, and encouraging companions to shift to socialization and not to hide in the bedrooms. Each room you could see was personalized based on the person in it. There were a lot of single rooms which was a good thing. The main thing that I didn't care for was the meals. They had very routine meals. But overall I would recommend the facility to others.
