I toured Magnolia by the Lakes. They were very nice, like a one-bedroom apartment, with beautiful decorations, nice kitchen cupboards, and everything you would need to stay for a couple of weeks or a month. They had a nice walk-in shower, you have the grab bars and everything that seniors need, very nicely appointed. The young man was very friendly. He did a great job. They have a pool and a lift that if someone has difficulty getting in the pool, then the lift can be used, and a nice dining area, just a very nice facility. It's very homey and it's designed like every one area is kind of like a European bistro kind of decoration and just very, very nice. The staff was enthusiastic and friendly.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and knew the residents. Magnolia is clean and has many fun activities The food was not your normal senior resident menu - very good selections daily. . There is a shuttle to get the residence to places they want to go and the view of the lake is magnificent.

Magnolia is the place to be. Magnolia's staff makes it feel like a home away from home which is exactly what I was looking for. The care staff and administration are the most attentive and informative people. The amenities are absolutely beautiful and the meals are 5-star. I would recommend this place to everyone.

We found Magnolia by the Lakes for my mom. They were clean, and the staff were nice. They offered a lot of activities, and the residents were very interactive. There are a lot of things for the seniors to do, so all of that was taken into consideration. I didn't like the size of the apartment, so I wish it could be larger. But the layout was fine as far as the size of the room itself, and the dining room was nice and open. They showed me the area where the family could visit and that was very nice, so that helped add to the decision why we also chose that place. I like that area where a family could come there. I like the fact that the facility was off the water. It was near the lake area. I like the scenery. It looked well kept up, too.

We toured Magnolia by the Lakes. It was neat, clean, and very updated. However, my mom and l do not care for it so much. It was kind of dark inside, like dark halls, dark meeting places where they had bingo, and all that. It was not as friendly as some of the other places we have visited so far. We met one person who showed us around, so we didn't have any interaction with other people. They had an exercise room, and they had a resistance pool. They have meals included, but then their rates were extremely high compared to everyone else that we have seen so far.

Magnolia by the Lakes seemed like a perfectly good place. The apartment that I saw was very nice. It seemed very clean and relatively new. The staff who gave me the tour was very friendly and very personable. He was a very nice guy. He seemed to know what he was doing, and seemed familiar with this. They had a small pool. It looked like they had a little mini-golf course. They had a nice eating area and a nice lounge area where people could go to. They didn't take me into the kitchen itself, but I saw the dining area. They seemed to have a nice enough dining place where people eat. I didn't have the opportunity to actually try the food. The place seemed very clean.

I visited Magnolia by the Lakes, and I liked it very much. It just wasn't the right place for my husband. Everything was lovely, like the cleanliness, the staff, and the food. Everything was lovely. It was very beautiful. There were plenty of activities. The staff were very friendly. The facility was lovely. I was very impressed. It was clean. Everything about it was lovely; I could see myself living there.

We have selected Magnolia by the Lakes for my friend. The community overall had a very close-knit family type of environment. All the residents were extremely friendly. The place was clean. The amenities were top of the line. The floor plans were good, the upgrades were nice and the food was excellent. They have all sorts of activities, crafts, movie nights, church, and trips to the grocery store and the markets and the movies. They have a whole calendar of activities that are available daily. The staff was very knowledgeable and personable.

I went to Magnolia by the Lakes. It was nice, everything was upgraded, it's not a very old place. I like the walk-in shower they have and the walk-in closet. I like the washer and dryer in the room. And I asked somebody about the food, and they said it's excellent. And the lady that toured me, she sat down with me and she answered all my questions. She emphasized and had a lot of empathy for me. She was very kind and concerned and caring and very nice, so my experience there was 100 times better than the other place. The rooms are beautiful. They're pretty large. You can get to the bathroom, from the bedroom, the living room. It's the same bathroom, but you can get in from either way, at night, you don't have to go out to the living room to get to the bathroom. That was nice. The closet was huge. It's clean.

At Magnolia by the Lakes, I saw the assisted living rooms on one side of the road and I saw the senior living on the other side. They said that we could have a senior living apartment on the third floor, which was a two-bedroom and I would love to have stayed there. I would like to have gone there. I did not have any food but the person who was kind of a salesperson told me that they don't really spare anything on their food and that they have good meals that occasionally they might even have steak or something special. She was kind of bragging about the owner too. This person was a physician and I was told that she used to own hospice centers around the United States or something and sold them. She had this place because she felt the seniors deserved to live very nicely. I like the philosophy of what I heard about her. I did not meet her though. There was a room on the 3rd floor that we could have had in the senior living section. My husband could live there and they said they could give him assisted living and that I could live there too. It's a 2-bedroom place but it was going to be around $10000 rather than $5,000 or $7,500. It was very, very lovely. The carpeting maybe was a little bit older, but it still was lovely and clean. It's 2 bedrooms and the kitchen is better than the kitchen in our house that we've lived in for 50 years. The cabinets were first class, nice countertops, the carpeting was like a lighter gray shade, which was nice, and a nice-sized area for the full washer and dryer. It has nice walk-in closets for the two bedrooms, the bathrooms were big and it has a lot of shelves or drawers in the cabinets. I loved it, it just costs too much. The person who helped me or showed me around was very pleasant, down to earth, and seemed very kind. I don't know what the experience would be if you lived there so I would skip the rating though because she was just a salesperson. I toured the assisted living side too and I felt it was a little bit dark. There's a room there where you can watch movies, and it had the amenities but to me, it seemed a little dated. I can't remember if it was red and gold but it kind of looked more like a hotel. I had a heavier feeling in there rather than light and cheerful. They showed me one room, which if I signed up right then and there, would be like $5000 but it was a very, very small room and it needed some updating. It just would not have worked for my husband. I also saw a nursing station there and there were a couple of nurses or assistants. I didn't talk to them, but I saw them working and taking care of patients in their rooms. The rooms, just by glancing at them, seemed crowded and older. Maybe the patients had been there for a long time. If I were living there, I think we would be quite happy because there is a nice balcony with a sliding door, and when you're on the balcony, there is a strip of houses kind of below you and you have a lake view. You would probably see boaters in the summer too.
