The rooms are very nice and well maintained. It is a quiet and pleasant atmosphere all around. All of the staff have always been pleasant and helpful for whatever the needs may be. Activities are well planned and managed for the enjoyment of the residents. The food prepared in the cafe is delicious and varied. Service has been exceptional. My family has resided there for 6 years and my brother in law tells me nearly everyday how thankful he is that we found the place and that he is living there. He has no interest in ever moving, he says. We are very thankful for everyone there.

My mom has a very comfortable room with a good sized bedroom , large bathroom ,and a good size living room /kitchen area. The room was newly painted and had new carpet and flooring when she moved in. The food seems to be good most of the time although I rarely eat there. The dining room has a restaurant feel , white table clothes and cloth napkins! The residents may choose their own seats and family members may eat with them . There is also a cafe with delicious food where residents may eat with their family. The nursing staff are very kind and helpful. If you use your call button they come quickly. The NP has been very kind and helpful with my Mom. The front lobby is a great meeting place for residents and visitors . Comfortable furniture , areas to play games ,a piano for residents ,and coffee make this a popular area to enjoy community. There are many activities for residents daily . A schedule of activities is published weekly. Birthdays are celebrated monthly and Friday often has happy hour! My Mom most enjoys the Sunday morning and Wednesday afternoon Church services in the Chapel and the hymn sings . They also offer fun outings and shopping outings weekly. There is also a beauty shop with very caring beauticians ! The maintenance department is helpful and prompt. Also very patient helping residents with their phones and TVs !

I have been a resident at Story Point Grand Rapids East since June of 2023. The rooms are varied but all contain living essentials. The staff is kind and considerate. The residents have numerous activities from which to choose each day.
