On the eastern shore of Lake Michigan, this small city is also known for the Grand Haven Lighthouses. Even though they are no longer in use, the lighthouses are a strong symbol of guidance and protection. Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Community, a 2010 National Quality Award Winner, is proud to be part of this port city because we also guide and protect our residents.

My sister's a resident of Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. It's a very small nursing home and it's very old. It has three wings; it hasn't been kept up. The staff is very nice, especially the core staff, but they seem to have trouble keeping help. Everybody's always calling in sick, and you've got the kitchen person helping to clean rooms. My sister has a shared room. They have common areas, but it's very rundown. As far as I know, activities are pretty rare, they don't have a regul...
