I visit my friend here weekly and I have noticed a change in her, she is thriving here at Crestmont. I asked her what changed she told me that the new staff was more efficient and caring and that they showed her respect. She wanted friends and she is finding them in the new Staff at Crestmont.

Wow,when I first got there they bent over backwards. The therapy department was great. Food was good but never enough for a big guy like myself, many times the food was missing from my trays. I was never given a shower because of understaffing issues in the 50 days I was there . The CNAs didn’t work with the nurses and felt they didn’t need to answer to anyone. Many times I was put in the wrong size brief because they claimed there was no bariatric briefs available in the building. When I could have my girlfriend wash me up not much hot water. And NO Heat in the Rooms on 9/28 when I left. Sadly the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing cannot run the building by themself with a few LPN and RNs. The corporation Sava Senior Care is cheap and understaffs it’s building in Fenton at Crestmont. Sadly I had to write this review after I seen patients walk out while I was there. Then it became a big deal with security and locking the doors after the fact......

We visited Crestmont Nursing Care Center, and I like the intake lady. She was very nice, young, and had a good attitude. My grandkids were with us, and she had no problem with them playing. The person at the admission desk was very nice, polite, and helpful. The janitor/helper was very kind, and very friendly. I didn't run into anything there at all that would make me say anything bad about the place. However, I didn't like the idea of two people in a bedroom, but you can't change that. The room was real clean, spacious, and the place is not too far from the family. The dining area was very spacious. That's where we did the interview, and there were people there eating. They were very nice, and they all seemed to be happy. There was no one there that looked upset or angry. There was an upbeat, and happy mood. They were all enjoying themselves. They interacted with their patients, and they really love them. They had physical therapy there also.

Crestmont was recommended by my aunt’s doctor. The staff was very helpful and had a good attitude. It’s very spacious and clean. I did not eat there, but my aunt is very happy with the food. The dining room was clean, the level of care available really impresses me, and it is secured.

The facilities decor is pleasant but the care is substandard. My loved one is left on bedpan for extended amounts of time. Is not cleaned properly after bowl movements. Call buttons are all but ignored. We are moving her out of this facility in two days. Staff ratio to patient is ridiculous....16 to 1. If you place your loved one here, be prepared to spend extended amounts of time here to provide and advocate their care,
