We toured Clio Village. The manager was very friendly and very helpful. The facility looked really nice. There was a kitchen. I think they must prepare meals for you. There was a large dining facility like a back porch setting, so that you could sit in lawn chairs under a shaded area outside. I liked the outdoors. There were a lot of people sitting around talking back there. There was only one drawback about this place, and it had a very bad smell to it. It was a smell that was strong enough that throughout the day my daughter and I both would get whiffs of it where our clothing had absorbed the smell while we sat there filling out applications. I think if you live there a while, you probably wouldn't even notice the smell. They had an apartment available, but we didn't take it. We turned it down. You had your own living space, but there were community areas that people could get together and visit each other. The staff were very friendly, and the residents we met were very friendly, too, and they seemed happy there. The facility appeared to be clean other than the smell, and the smell is a big thing.
