We have chosen Villa Bella of Clinton Township for my father. It was the first one I went to, and I was satisfied completely with the place, so I never looked anywhere else. My dad has moved into their independent living, and he has been there for more than two weeks now. It's great. Everything seems to be perfect for him. He is not disabled, and he can do everything, but he just needs the basics. Like they're cooking for him, they're cleaning for him, they're doing his laundry, and they hold his Catholic masses right there on the premises. Everything is perfect. He is very pleased as I am. My dad's room is great. He's got his own space, his own bathroom, and his own little kitchenette. The upkeep is excellent. As of now, I couldn't ask for more. They're very friendly. Their dining area is superb and luxurious. It's like a millionaire lives there. It's nice. They have a lot of activities, but my dad is not interested. They have physical therapy, and they have a lot of different stuff. He's just not into it.

Villa Bella of Clinton Township was an awesome community. They had a lot of stuff. It was very nice and very clean. The people were very nice. The lady during the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable. The apartments were nice. The bathrooms had the bars for the elderly people, and I was very relieved with that. The kitchenette was nice. They had lots of amenities. They had outdoor golfing, bingo, and a room where you could go read. It looked very well maintained. They had two dining areas. They were very nice. One was like a bistro, and the other one was like a regular dining room.

Villa Bella of Clinton Township looked nice overall. It's well kept up and they have friendly staff members. The amenities were very good. The rooms were good as well and they have a variety of options. They had a cafeteria full of residents and guests when I was there.

The interior hallways and common spaces of Villa Bella of Clinton Township are extremely decorated with high-end furniture and accessories. The dining area looks like an Italian restaurant with tablecloths and linen napkins in the evenings. It's a really nice-looking community. There's entertainment several times a week, movie nights, and other things the residents can do. My in-laws' apartment is a simple, clean one-bedroom apartment with a patio exit to the parking lot since they're on the first floor. They have somebody coming in to clean and do their laundry on a regular basis.

Our visit at Villa Bella of Clinton Township was good. One of the differences I noticed in this community was that there were more men -- which was good for my father. It’s very Italian so it works out good, too. They have a movie theater. They have an outdoor bocce lane and a putting green. They have all kinds of clubs. The apartments are better than any other apartments I’ve seen. They’re in better shape and more updated. If the residents get to the dining room early, they let them in. There is no line. They get seated, but they don’t get fed. It’s a really nice facility.

Villa Bella was really far away; I think it was a lovely building. However, the rent was more than I could afford. I felt the apartments were too small for what I was paying for.

My daughter’s mother-in-law is in Villa Bella of Clinton Township. All I got to see was the dining room; it was very nice, and there was a room with a pool table in it. My daughter says that the food is fantastic there, and her brother-in-law’s wife thinks it’s a fabulous place, but it’s awful expensive. It was across from the hospital.

We toured Villa Bella of Clinton Township. We got the feeling that we were imposing because we didn’t have an appointment with them. We just decided to drop in. The woman was nice and stuff, but she just kept looking at her watch like we were imposing on her. The rooms were not as nice, and there was an odor in that place. There were no activities that day because she told me that day was the day that they go outside. They let us go in and see the dining room, but it was not like a restaurant. It was like a cafeteria. That wasn’t what we wanted. They really needed a liaison person. That just threw me right away.

I went to Villa Bella and liked it a lot. The staff was top notch. They had somebody in the foyer doing folk songs; it was their gathering for the afternoon, and I thought that was really nice. What I really liked is their whole décor and the layout of the floors. It was very warm, beautifully decorated, had nice carpeting, and had a really unique layout on the floors, not just on the hallways. You can rent a family room for a party for $45, but there’s no refund. They have popcorn on demand and a great theater room. There was a child’s room for when you go to visit, kids have a place to go. They have games, crafts, and Barre classes. They did not have too many choices for food.

I was really impressed with the layout and the facility at Villa Bella. The staff seemed very friendly and showed us around. It was a very clean-looking place and very well decorated. They had a lot of activities planned. It was the first one we visited that we liked a lot.

Villa Bella was a nice place. They showed us around. However, it was a bit of a show. When trying to talk to residents, you could tell that they hardly ever talk to you before. It just wasn't natural.

In response to your post about Vila Bella and your tour being a bit of a show. I am the Manager of Villa Bella and I'm sorry you felt that way. Villa Bella staff inter-mingle with our residents all the time. We see them at activities, meals etc. etc. I will look into who gave you a tour to see what made you feel this way. Thank you for your visit, Best Regards, Julie Wilson - General Manager

I went to Villa Bella of Clinton Township. It was very nice, but my father-in-law couldn't afford that. The lady that gave me the tour was wonderful. She was very nice and very helpful. She did a great job. She did show me a room, and it was very nice. The rooms were well-kept-up. They looked good. I saw the pool room, where they play bingo and cards, and the movie theater place. The facility was beautiful.

The people are wonderful at Villa Bella of Clinton. The only person that they need to get rid of is the chef. The food is not that good. I have a beautiful one bedroom unit, and it's big enough for me. Their dining room does not look like a regular cafeteria. It has tablecloths and crystal glasses. It's beautiful. They have cards, bingo, and movies that they show. They also have activities outside.
