We liked Pine Ridge of Garfield. The rooms were nice, and the food was great there. They had a stove, but the only thing I don't like is that I would like a washer and dryer in my room instead of sending out the laundry. The staff was very nice. The food was very good. They had a little garden and a patio that you could go out.

We're satisfied with Pine Ridge of Garfield. The food is excellent. The rooms are very nice and it's bright and sunny here. The people are extremely friendly, both staff and residents. The staff is excellent. The facility is very well cared for. It's all nicely redone. It's just overall a nice place. The price is a little high. They have bingo and different card games. They have cooking and fitness.

The people at Pine Ridge of Garfield were friendly. We liked that there was a courtyard for gardening. We liked the apartments, and we liked the choices in the food department. We did try a meal. They were painting and updating everything, so that looked nice. They offer freshly prepared from scratch soups every day. We saw some common areas, but I wasn't really impressed with them because they were very small.

We're pretty satisfied with Pine Ridge of Garfield. I love the cleanliness and their grand entry when you walk in. We had some food from there, and it was very good. The rooms were nice sized. The people were very friendly, and it seemed to run very smoothly with the employees. They had an exercise room, an activity room, pool tables, and shuffleboard. I love the idea that they have a little general store. I like the whole place. It's very well maintained outside and inside. It's independent, but you can add packages to it for assisted. They told us they had a Kentucky derby night, and they were all wearing the fancy hats that they made. It was really nice.

We chose Pine Ridge of Garfield for my mother because of the services and because they were close to all of the relatives. Their care is really good. She's basically assisted with enhancements, almost like to the level of memory care. They have activities throughout the week. Right now, her Alzheimer's is getting real bad, so she really doesn't do that many activities. They keep the place up pretty well. It's pretty reasonable for what you're getting. They have a company that works inside to create more assistance. They have a salon onsite. They have an activity room for working out and they have people come to do yoga and exercise.

Pine Ridge of Garfield is my choice. It was absolutely beautiful. I just liked everything. I liked the fact that it's not too super far for me, if my ex-husband needs family for some reason. They do a lot of activities. It was clean and the staff was fantastic. They have gardens and patios, and stuff like that. Everything was beautiful. They were getting ready to have horse racing. They gave me some soup, and that was good.

My overall impression of Pine Ridge of Garfield was very positive. It was clean, everyone was friendly, and the guests who were already living there were friendly with us. They served us a meal and the food was good and it seemed like the amenities were good. It was a very positive experience. The person who assisted us during the visit was extremely friendly and followed through to get feedback after we had left. The facility was very nice.

I will be moving into Pine Ridge of Garfield. I liked the tour I had. They have field trips, shopping, card games, and all kinds of activities. The apartment I saw had a bed, a refrigerator, a stove, a kitchenette, heating, and electricity. It's a one-bedroom with a living space. The facility was not perfect, but it's very nice.

My parents have selected Pine Ridge of Garfield. My mom liked the apartment that she saw, and it felt more homey because when you walk in you walk into the kitchen and the family room. Right off of the family room was a bedroom, and then you go down a long hallway and that's where the bedroom is. It wasn't like you walked in and here's your family room and here's your bedroom and that's it. To her, it was more like there was some separation and it felt more like a house. She liked that set-up. It had a beautiful courtyard that her balcony will look out over. She will be able to go out there and see the birds, the potted plants, and some flowers. The biggest thing for my mom was she liked it because it didn't have that dark wood look. It was more bright colors and it wasn't all dark wood. It was also centrally located to the things she did like. Like her hair salon was a mile or two from it, and the gym she used to work out at was close by. It was more in the area of where she was comfortable. I think that's one of the reasons she picked it. It was by far the nicest place we saw, too. They weren't really open either when we visited because when my parents moved in, they pretty much stayed in their room, so I didn't really get to see a lot of the amenities, but they have a theater room, they have a little cafe, they have a full restaurant, and they have a chapel. I didn't think the value for the money was outrageous. They're a little more than some places, but it seems to offer a little bit more, too. I would say it's probably fairly priced.

I toured Pine Ridge of Garfield. The rooms were a little bit small, they had window units for air conditioners, and when you turn it on they made a lot of noise. It seemed like there were a lot of people who would care for them. They invited us for lunch, and it was very good. I liked the veterans club, playing cards, and they have transportation services, but I drive. The staff is very good, and very professional.

I liked the flexibility at Pine Ridge of Garfield. You don't have to have dinner precisely at 6:00. They had very nice apartments, which I also liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they had a chef. They had a billiard room and a little gym that's not too well equipped, but it had a treadmill and one machine that strengthens your arms. They allowed me to keep my dog there. It's the best that I have visited. I had lunch there, and there were choices and a menu like in a restaurant. The facility was excellent. I can recommend this to anybody who is looking for either assisted living or independent living.
