My brother-in-law moved to Lockwood of Clinton. We chose that place because it was reasonably priced and everything was more or less a la carte. So far, the people are good. They respond very quickly and are very helpful. The meals are optional and that's what we liked about it the most because my brother-in-law wanted to take care of his own food (although he can still get a meal if he so chooses). There are exercise classes, word games, puzzles, and cards. They also have a library, a dining room, an activities room, and another room where it has a big game table like a chess table and a pool table. He still drives, but they have transportation to grocery stores.

We toured Lockwood of Clinton. I liked the courtesy of Nancy, who was the tour coordinator. She's into the management of it. I got a chance to say hello to some of the residents, and they were very kind. We went in to see the model and I was like, I love this. She showed us the pool room where they had a pool table. They also had a big TV, and that was in another room. They had a table there if you wanted to drink or eat a snack or something. You could go in there and enjoy yourself. She showed us the big library the puzzle room, which was very nice. She showed us the dining room area and I liked that it was cheery. I told her that my husband had a button from his insurance company that he wears and so forth, and she said they have one here as well. They give it to the residents so that they can keep track of them or if something goes on, they know what's happening and can get the response team to get here as soon as possible. The grounds were kept very nice. They had benches that you could sit outside or if you wanted to sit in the front.

I toured Lockwood of Clinton. It was a lovely place. There were lots of activities for people. The building itself is very pretty. I decided I didn't want to live in such a large building. I think there were 115 apartments. I like to have my own door. I like the village type of arrangement where I am. The upkeep was really good. That means it's perfect. They had a pool room and a pool table in addition to just the usual libraries and community rooms. They allow you to start your own activity if you want to, which I was very interested in. There's a man there who does coffee in the mornings and it's well-attended. They encourage the residents to start their own activities if they want. It was lovely. They have a big dining area. I personally need a balcony where I move. I have a cat and they didn't have any balconies, so that was a problem for me, but otherwise it was a beautifully kept place, with very friendly people. The tour guide was a wonderful person.

I toured Lockwood of Clinton. I like that they have elevators. I like that they have a pantry in the kitchen. The apartments were very nice, except the second bedroom was too small. The staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The hallways of the facility were clean and the common areas were clean. The dining area looked big, spacious, and clean.

Lockwood of Clinton was very nice. There wasn't anything I didn't like, except that it's not a single story. It's three stories, so it's not exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were very nice. It had one bedroom, a washer and dryer, and a nice big kitchen. The facility looked clean. The staff members were very nice. The atmosphere was nice. I got there around dinnertime, and there were people having dinner. They had a smaller dining area. They offer a lot of different amenities. I know they have different things that go on during the day for people. They offer a bus service to take people to different places if they need to go grocery shopping.

I liked Lockwood of Clinton. I was impressed by it, but it was just a little too expensive for me. It was clean and friendly. The rooms were very nice. I was able to tour and see everything from the library to the cafeteria. There were some residents in the library and some were playing cards in the pool room, so there was activity. The person who toured me was very nice and very, very informative.

Lockwood of Clinton has been awesome. My dad gets housekeeping once a week, which is all he needs, and they're on call if he needs help with anything. My granddaughter pushed the button when she was there and three people came in less than a minute. So, we're very happy to know they're on it, and if he were to need help, they'd be right there. They provide wonderful meals a day down in the dining room. They have four different activities that he can participate in if he wants to. Then they have game rooms, a cafeteria, and a couple of meeting places for people to gather. The people have been great. Everything about them has been wonderful so far. It was the best value we could find.

I visited Lockwood of Clinton. The layout was very nice. It was a very nice and clean facility. The staff was friendly. The building was nice and modern. The one we toured was a two-bedroom apartment and it was nice. The facility looked well maintained and clean. It's a place I wouldn't mind living. The amenities were very nice. They had a nice sitting area, a physical fitness area, a physical therapy area, and a crafts room.

I went to Lockwood of Clinton yesterday. The staff seemed OK. The dining area looked very nice. I didn't try the food. It was one of the smaller facilities. It was very clean. They just showed me the activity room, the theater, the library, and where the dining room was.

The initial contact I had with Lockwood of Clinton was virtual. I spoke with Maria and we did a Facetime tour, so she walked around the facility through Facetime and we talked, and it was very nice. Maria was very, very nice and informative. I was able to meet her in person on the 13th, as well, and did a full in-person tour. We were able to walk through the lobby, through the wings of where the apartments were at, the dining area, and all the accessible facilities that they had there. We saw the apartments and they're updated, clean and spacious and, I think, definitely affordable for the 1-bedroom. They have different sizes and what we're looking for is a 1-bedroom for my mom. Given what that price included for the 1-bedroom, I thought it was very nice, plus it had a full kitchen. If we're looking for a negative, I would have to say that the price included just one meal, which the facility encouraged including the dinner meal because that was the more expensive meal obviously versus breakfast and lunch. So, any meal you chose not to include was like a ticket system, and my mom would have to purchase so many lunches and so many tickets for that month. Other than that, she would just be on her own for the cooking of the breakfast and lunch if she chooses to include dinner. That would probably be my only downside of this facility. Other than that, I thought it presented itself very well. I think the price was pretty compatible with what they offer like the size of the bedroom. They also have the pull cord in the bathroom and the bedroom, which I thought was very good for if my mom would have an accident, she could pull the cord and they would come to her. They also come with a pendant that the residents could wear, the GPS one, so if she would fall as well, she could have extra stability with the medical staff there through that pendant. It's almost like a life alert.

The Gardens of Clinton was very clean. The lady who gave us the tour was very polite. The apartments were very clean and very pleasant. They had different activities during the week like tennis. They had a pool table and a TV room. They also had a cafeteria. It was very peaceful and quiet.
