For the nearly $8K I am paying per month, I have had numerous disappointing experiences. I was told many things at the admissions meeting that absolutely are not coming to fruition. I was told my Mom would be checked on hourly - my visit the other day showed me she'd sat in the same soiled brief for nearly 8 hours. There seems to be a disconnect between admission information and what staff actually know/do. I am constantly asking for follow up, or to be provided services we were promised. This is already a highly emotional and stressful time, as I am the only family member caring for, and arranging all financial and medical care. At this point I am very disappointed in the miscommunication, and the massive difference between what I was told at admission and what is actually being supplied for my Mom. For the cost - we should be receiving 5 star service - and we are not.

Vista Springs Trillium Village is the best place in the world. It's a five-star hotel for my mother. The staff couldn't be kinder, and they're wonderful to the 24-hour nursing care residents. She's cared for in every possible way. The meal services are perfect, I have no complaints with that, and neither does she. The place itself is beautiful. They're always working really hard to keep the residents busy. They have card games, puzzles, exercises, cooking, word searches, and they're growing flowers outside. They also have an enclosed community area outside and they are very well staffed. Somebody comes in every day to entertain them, they have movies, and a beauty shop. They have everything. It's a good value for the money.
