I toured Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills. The one-bedroom units were very tiny. The layout was a bit confusing, but I like the level of care they offer. They have specific staff members assigned to a specific resident so they get to know them better. They have an anytime meal program and I only met one staff member, she was pleasant and very informative.

We toured Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills. The building was a little rundown. The clients I think we're a little bit further along, so it's kind of a depressing feel to us. I think the amenities were less than what we saw in the other place. But on the flip side of that, the staff was extremely helpful. The staff that I met were outstanding, and they were answering all the questions, they were very friendly and very good. There are a couple of places where you could tell the floor had been damaged and scraped in, a couple of spots on the wall where the wallpaper was peeling off, and it just looked like it needed a little maintenance.

Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was good. They were very up-to-date. The price was a bit much for me. The care is always my problem because we can't afford it. My grandmother needs a high level of care. The rooms were very up-to-date, clean, and nice. The staff who assisted us was pretty good. They were a good choice for me, but the price is expensive. They have exercise clubs, baking clubs, games, and scrabble board clubs. They got a yoga class and crafts. They have a lot going on.

We took my father to Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills once to see their assisted living. When we looked at it originally, we wanted to show him the difference between assisted and independent, and we wanted to see if that is something that he might want. It was too assisted living for him; it had too much assistance. He wasn't a fan. The rooms were more a place where if you get out of the hospital, you might go there for a month or two. It wasn't a place that he felt he wanted to live in. They have different types of facilities in different locations, and this one was more suited for a person who needs a little bit more help. We went there with him. Once we were there, he wasn't interested at all. The room size was more of a little studio-type situation, and he wasn't in favor of it. We didn't bother much more than that. It was an easy no for him. The facility has a library, a gym, and all the food was included. It just didn't have a pool. Everybody was nice; and if my dad had needed a little bit more assistance, then it would have been OK.

My grandmother was at the Sunrise community for 5 years. they offered her 5 happy years. She was able to make new friends, go on outings and enjoy her independence with the support of their great staff. The staff loved us like family

My brother-in-law moved into Sunrise. They were very accommodating, they had like an inside porch, so if we wanted to see him we'd make an appointment. We find that very helpful with the pandemic going on. They keep 'em in there for maybe four or five days, they have COVID test, once everything's negative they're all in that community. That's a big plus for the community. They let us in, he had quite a bit of stuff, so we got ourselves in, put stuff away, and got him situated. His room is very nice, very spacious, he's on the first floor, so he's next to everything going on, he's got a good view. We like it a lot. It's COVID-free there, the staff is tested every week for COVID. It was very updated, modern, clean. They gave him a neck bracelet, he can push the button, and someone would come in.

My parents stayed at Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills. The place was beautiful. They treated them great, and they treated us great as well when my father passed. I have nothing but great things to say about it. They had activities, and I saw a person come in to entertain the people. Their room was nice and clean.

My wife moved into Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills, but she's in the hospital now. The care is very fine, and we're very pleased. So far, it's an excellent experience, the rooms worked out perfectly for her, cleanliness is perfect, and the staff wear gloves all the time. There are not a lot of things to do, but the location is perfect, it's only a mile from our house. They have a beauty salon, but no gym, or pool. They have 5 choices for dinner, and there are always more tables than people there. I have already recommended them. They have bingo, card games, and they have some entertainment about every other day.

I went to Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills. They were too expensive for us, but I was really pleased. It was very nice; top of the line. I saw the activities for memory care, and I was pleased with the surroundings. The staff appeared to be OK, the dining area was very good, and the kitchen was very clean. The lady that showed me around was very knowledgeable.

The staff at Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was very nice and professional. The rooms were great. The place was really comfortable, very homey, relaxed, and very calm. I saw the common areas and a couple of vacant rooms. The dining area was pretty elegant and very nice. I really like the layout and the floor plans.

The lady who worked with us from Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was wonderful, nice, and showed a lot of empathy with my situation. I would recommend their facility for anyone whos looking for assisted living with memory care. Unfortunately, since it's private pay, the amount exceeded my budget. The rooms were very nice and the ones I saw were comfortable for two people. The staff was very friendly, nice, and wonderful. The amenities were very nice and they offered a nice variety of options for their clients.

The people at Sunrise were amazing to work with when my 95 year old mother's stroke made it impossible for her to continue to drive and live independently in the home she had lived in for over fifty years. The care my mother received was outstanding. The staff was caring and made an effort to get to know my Mom. The provided me a wealth of information to help my Mom. Their cooperation was particularly valuable since I was coordinating her care from thousands of miles away before I could get back to Michigan and help her move in to Sunrise. Everyone from the sales staff to the care givers were first rate. I cannot recommend this facility with any higher rating. If I was not moving my mother to Washington to be closer to me, she would have been a permanent resident at Sunrise. Lovely place!

Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was excellent. Unfortunately, Mom can't afford it, but how it presents and the people, including the residents, were wonderful. I would move her there in a heartbeat if we could afford it. I saw people congregated, and it was nice to see people being active and social. Everything looked wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the parking outside for guests. I have problems walking, and basically I had to walk more to get in there than any other place that I've been to. The parking lot and the entrance to the building are a distance apart. The dining area was clean and bright. Everything looked clean and taken care of. They served food buffet-style. I didn't have any qualms about anything.

Sunrise looks okay from the outside...but it was not a good experience on the inside. They are either understaffed or their staff is underqualified. Many errors, mostly simple errors, which left my parent with no meds, no pull cord, and no way to communicate. The food was what you would expect at a diner. I observed issues with an other resident not receiving meds while we were there as well otherwise I'd just chalk it up to an isolated incident. Check with local police/fire/ems for a better "360". If needed they are exceptional, and Beaumont Hospital is nearby.

Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was a little bit fancier than the ones down in Florida. I did see one negative interaction with a resident. He didn't want to go change, but the gal was a little bit too forceful. The representative that showed us around was awesome, but some of the staff weren't as friendly as the others. The dining area and the common areas were perfect. They have classic movies running all the time as well as activities.

Sunrise of Bloomfield was very well-maintained but extremely expensive. The rooms seem to be really well-kept. I have taken my mother there to visit her friend, it always seemed to be well-kept, and the people were very pleasant. I really particularly liked this one but to get my mother in there with a shared room, it was $3,200.

Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was very nice. The rooms were basic but nice, and the staff was very nice. They had art classes and were having a social hour while I was there. The dining area looked like a restaurant and was fine.

I chose the Sunrise of Bloomfield, and my husband will move there in the next few weeks. It was smaller and very clean, and the cost was within range. Everybody said hello and introduced themselves to me, and they were just top notch.

We toured Sunrise of Bloomfield. The application was a little full, so we took a packet home. It was nice. We were treated well. It was really nice. I like that they were helpful in helping us find what we were looking for and telling us what things we needed to take with us. It was a high-class and modern facility.

My mom was in Sunrise of Bloomfield. It was absolutely beautiful outside and inside. They had meals for the patients, provided baths every day and hair washing, had people come in for entertainment, and played bingo and that sort of thing. They allowed us to eat with her on the very first and last day, and it was not bad. My mother ate the food. They had a salon. The outside was beautifully landscaped with well-trimmed bushes and beautiful floral arrangements.

I thought Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was really nice, very well kept, and classy. It seemed that they had quite a bit of activities, too, and I was impressed that they had a little food sampling, which was quite good. The community was nice, but it might be a little more than the price range in which I was looking.

I visited Sunrise and the people were very nice. I forgot the girl's name and I do not know if she was the administrator, but she was very nice. She took us on tour and showed me what she had available. They had a game room, a puzzle room and TV room where they can go watch a movie. The rooms were spacious. I thought the place was very nice.

Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills was great. The staff was great, it was very clean, and it's a newer facility. It only opened a year ago, so everything was in tip top shape there. I also found out that the Sunrises are pretty much the same across the board as far as what they offer and everything, and they are all great. I just chose the other Sunrise because of the locality.

The rooms at Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills were just too small -- it was all there was to it. We walked in, people sat around, and they didn't seem unpleasant or anything, but once we looked at the rooms and saw how small they were, I said this was just not the place I like.

I liked the Sunrise of Bloomfield Hills, but my sister did not. She felt that they were rushing her to make a deposit, but I did not feel that way. It has a good environment a and good atmosphere, and the staff was very nice. My son and I both liked it. I checked out a room that was open, and it seemed like it would accommodate if we were to choose that facility.

Sunrise is really nice inside. They were pleasant, but the money factor was a little different there. The staff was very nice. I know they have coffee and tea, and they had breakfast when we got there. It’s very safe, although the door was open, but there was someone at the front desk.

Sunrise is very clean. We're extremely happy. The only thing was they did all these activities during the day which most of the time kind of failed through. That would be my only negative response but everybody was extremely quick to answer any of our questions and they were always very willing to talk to us and I thought it was really good. They're very, very helpful. I was very pleased with it. Their dining room was like being in a restaurant. They had table cloths.

My grandmother is currently staying at Sunrise Senior Living in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Our first impression of the home gave a very warm welcoming by the staff. We had originally went in and checked out the home before we made our decision if this was the right one for my Grandmother. Sunrise is decorated very tastefully. The flowers and landscaping outside are beyond compare. Sunrise has many programs that you can participate in which is great. Being active was one of the major key points that made us decide to go with Sunrise. My Grandma has been at Sunrise for 1.5 years now. She is very happy with the choice that we had made. She has many friends and the employee's are "Fantastic". She receive's home cooked meals on a daily basis which is always cooked fresh by on-site cooks. We as a family are very happy for her to be at Sunrise. The cost is very much worth the excellent nursing home she is living at. I am more then happy to rate Sunrise with 5 stars.
