First thing my husband noticed was the cleanliness of the facility. Staff was was great. My father-in-law was only there for tow and a half months but they celebrated his 100th birthday! So very pleased with his healing and physical and occupational therapy. I will highly recommend them!

Staff very friendly & unhelpful. Bad about returning messages. Contact with my ward was repeatedly denied when other patients were brought to the main door to visit safely staying on either side. Freebies included serious pressure wound on 1 foot & rotting black with festering green & yellow on 2nd foot. This was supposed to be short term post op care with beginning PT. Did not inform of an issue until zero food or water intake for 2.5 days. Foot wounds were never noted in records, nor at transfer out. If you care about your loved one, look elsewhere. Due to the COVID19 restrictions we were not allowed access to the inside at any time so cannot rate food, etc. Staff was friendly to face but repeatedly unhelpful. On 1 call to check on patient the nurse actually angrily chewed me out over something that had not been communicated to us in any way previously, a minor issue of having provided comfort items for the patient.

My mother was in Carriage House. The room was poor, and it didn't have any decorations, only white/black walls. She did not have a shower in the bathroom. I didn't care for the food. The guests could not eat with the patients, and they did not have much in the way of activities. The staff members however were friendly and competent.

My grandmother is in The Colonnades. It is a great experience for her. She is very happy. We were concerned that she was not going to happy and she wasn't going to like it, but she really likes it. One of the big things is that she is more active, and they actually have outings, and she's enjoying going on outings. That is great too. I think the rooms are pretty big. It has a nice living area, a really big bathroom, and a really big separate bedroom. So, I think they are a good size for the price. She is a very picky eater and she says the food is very good. I picked her up one day and she was eating salmon, and they had apple cake and it looked really yummy. I didn't taste it, but it looked good. I think that the one thing that I like about The Colonnades is that it really brought back my grandmother's independence and her being able to go out in the community again because from last June until she was placed there, she wasn't able to go out as much. So, I really like the fact that she is able to go out and to the casino like she used to in the past. I think the atmosphere is great. It is very well kept up and very clean. It seems all the other residents are happy. I do have one suggestion, and she complained about it one time. They can only take so many people who are in a wheelchair for outings, and she has to hurry up and rush to have her name on the list because there's always one person who's on the list before her.

As a girl scout leader we have always tried to get the girls out into the community to do different types of community service. One of their favorite things to do was to go and sing Christmas Carols at the Carriage house. There are different levels of care at the carriage house and we were allowed in all areas except for the the wing that held the patients that were combatant and had a severe disability. the majority of the patients were joyed to see someone come in and sing for them. The staff seemed grateful when we called to set up the date and time and also while we were there. It seems that some of the people at Carriage house did not get visitors so this was a real treat for them. The majority of the time that we went, we also had homemade decorations for their doors to hang for the occasion.

My grandparents were here and it warmed my heart when I took my grandma out for an outing with our family and she said she wanted to go home ( meaning the Carriage House). It was then that we knew she REALLY felt comfortable there and looked forward to seeing her care givers.
