We are so thankful for TrueCare. They were the only assisted living place that financially met our needs. The rooms are cozy and the French toast is amazing. Plenty of things to do for residents and the tranquil outdoors makes it perfect for watching the birds. They have a beautiful park across the street to sit on a bench or go for a walk. Staff are easy to work with and do a great job taking care of the residents.. We love Calina, Iris, Paige, Judy and Nicol! They are committed to taking care of the residents and have become part of the family.

I'm not sure why there aren't any recent photos; this place was entirely remodeled. The new owner really impresses me how he is personally involved in everything.

The rooms felt personal, cozy, and inviting. Meal times were highlights, offering not just tasty food but a chance to connect. And the staff? They were the heart of it all - always there with a smile, making everyone feel truly at home. A++++

True Care Living is under new ownership, and the owner is doing a fabulous job remodeling. I feel that his ideas, techniques, and caring for the elderly is very good. He has pretty high standards. It was an old rundown place. It used to be an old military barracks, but he is really putting the time and effort into remodeling it. The tenants all seem really happy. My stepdad is actually very happy there. They have a nice game room that offers all sorts of different activities. They have different activities throughout the week for the residents. They have computers available, they have a little basketball for the ones that want to play basketball, they have a pinball machine, and they have a little country store for them to buy stuff at. It's all in the works. They're still working on it, but they're doing a fabulous job. It is an old building. It needs quite a bit of work, but the owner is working on it. He's started different sections of the buildings, and it looks really, really nice. It's a nice upgrade for the people, but as far as being compared to some other places, there's really no comparison because it is an older building. It's not all up-to-date and modern yet, but he is working on it. The prices are right. The staff treats my stepdad very well. My stepdad has a hard time swallowing their food. He choked a couple of times at the meal. Now they grind his food up for him. They make sure that it's good for him, so he doesn't choke again, and that means a lot. The fact that they do pay attention and they did something about it, that says a lot to me. They're not just letting the man choke.

I visited, but my husband is not at that level where he's aware of his environment. There are a lot of things he's well aware of so he wouldn't do well there. Compared to the patients that are in there, he's more energetic and more outgoing, so I don't think it would be a good community for him. The rooms were nice and they looked clean, and the people there were very friendly. My husband is only at the beginning stages and it might make him progress faster since he won't be as free as he'd like to be in this community. They told us they have activities like card games, movies, and stuff for the residents to do. The people there are very nice, it's a nice place, but pretty average.

As soon as I walked into the place i saw about 5 residents in the lobby. They seemed to be relaxing and one was even sleeping on the couch. For me this says the folks who live there are comfortable and relaxed and don't feel as if they are not wanted. I noticed there were no smells. My fathers friend who lives there said she is very happy and the staff treats her well. she also claimed she didn't want to come but that now, she wouldn't want to be anywhere else. she claimed the food is very good most of the time and she couldn't be happier.

My mom moved into the community. I liked it because of the location. They listed a bunch of activities, but my mother doesn't go down, because she doesn't know the schedule, and they don't bother to come and get her. They're shorthanded and their cleaning routine could be better. They serve three meals a day, they give her her medication when she needs it, and they do housekeeping, and laundry. The staff is really nice.
