My mother will be moving into Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. It seemed updated and pretty. The staff was very nice, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I didn't see anything because of Covid, but they had a hair salon, a library, a podiatrist, a doctor, bingo, and other games. If it wasn't Covid, they'd have the therapy. I don't know what the food is like, but the dining room seemed nice. The room is kind of like the size of a hospital room. Everything seemed clean.

I have been to multiple facilities in the area over the last five years and this is one of the more enjoyable facilities to visit. The patients are generally happier and seem to be more cared for. As some of the facilities are over crowded and the patients do not receive immediate care I know that it can be hard on the patient's demeaner. The faculty is pleasant and take their job seriously. The building is very clean, organized, and seems to be up to health and safety standards. I can see why family members would chose this facility for their loved ones, and I always have enjoyed helping the patients their.
