OASIS Adult Day Health Center offers a community setting for elderly patients whose medical conditions require a need for nursing supervision and/or rehabilitative therapy. The goals of the program are to provide health, social, and nutritional intervention, to prevent premature institutionalization. OASIS Adult Day Health Center strives to provide an organized program of nursing services, supervision, maintenance therapy services and socialization.
Members of the program are of basic and complex levels of needs. Individualized care and complex levels of need; individualized care and services are provided that support dignity, self-esteem, and promote independence. In coordination with member's family, physicians, OASIS Adult Day Health Center staff develops a comprehensive plan of care for each member in order to best meet their needs.
OASIS ADHC services include:
- Nursing Services and Health Oversight
- Therapy Services
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
- Nutritional and Dietary Services
- Activities
Each day members are transported to and from the program. Once they are at the center, they enjoy a day of structured activities. Throughout the day patients are monitored and encouraged to participate in group and individual activities. Members are served Breakfast, Lunch and Snack each day, and all nutritional considerations are taken into account. Special diets are accommodated, and alternate meal choices are available. Resting areas are provided for any members who needs a quiet place to relax, and nursing staff is available to assist with any emergency medical needs. Detailed patient charts contain all pertinent information about the member's conditions and individual care plans are reviewed with the member's physician quarterly. OASIS Adult Day Health Center strives to provide a safe and comfortable experience for these seniors each day.

Is a Good place for our olderly to have fun, but the only complain is they don't serve healthy meal, there menu is fat grease and salty, knowing the facility that most of the participant suffer from heart problems, blood pressure ect. They should fix the meal plan.

This the Best place to have a love one. My mom loves to go every day. I love the way she is so happy when it's time to go to the center.

I am a Clinician in a "Community Based Flexible Support" Program. Some of our clientelle have been going to OASIS for some months now. The physical plant itself is very lovely and the staff are very involved. The activities seem to be varied. They provide lunch there as well. It is located in downtown Lawrence, hence it is easily accessible as well.
