My dad has a beautiful, sun-filled apartment; he loves the food; and has made many friends and close relationships with the other residents. He also has a friendly relationship with all of the staff, who in my experience are patient and caring. His apartment has two bedrooms in case he wants visitors, huge windows, plenty of closet space, a big bathroom and a kitchenette with full size fridge. (My father personally prefers to make his own breakfast.) He has a dog, and there is a nice path around the building for him to walk her. In the warm weather, lovely outdoor spaces including a beautiful courtyard. There is a beautiful dining room, gym, art room, theater, and common rooms. The staff offers activities and has allowed my dad to start his own groups according to his interests, including a news discussion group. In addition, Burlington has absolutely everything you might need (grocery, retail, restaurants, parks) very close, including Lahey Clinic for any health needs a mile away. Stonebridge offers a caring and supportive environment, good communication, and a high level of safety.

I looked at Stonebridge at Burlington. What was different with this place was that there was no buy-in, but there was a very hefty monthly fee. For the two of us, it was going to come out to about $10,000 a month. We just cannot afford that. It is primarily assisted living. My boyfriend is definitely borderline in terms of needing assisted living, and I would kind of be the tag along in that case. They don't split up couples just because one of them needs assisted living and the other doesn't. It is a very nice place, but it was just too expensive for us. It's definitely on the newer side. I don't know how old it is, but it's on the newer side. The amenities were very good. They have a restaurant and a bar that looked just as nice as any restaurant and bar in the area that you would go to. I saw some card games going on, so obviously there were some activities. I remember seeing a beauty salon and a barbershop. They have physical therapy. They have happy hour down in the communal living room with a big fireplace in late afternoons.

I went to Stonebridge at Burlington. I was supposed to go for the in-person tour, but then the woman wasn't able to see me. I stayed, and they let me actually walk around the main floor by myself. I didn't get a tour of the room, but I was able to see the open space, the kitchen area, and the movie area. They had a painting room, bocce, and gardens. They had a much better open outdoor living space than others, but I never got to see the units there. It was very airy, very open, and very welcoming. It appeared to me that they had great amenities and a lot of open space. It was right next to KinderCare that had a big playground area for the little kids. I thought an older person might enjoy seeing the little kids playing there. I liked the grounds. If you're able to go outside and walk around, you had more space to do that. The residents seemed older, but active. There was a lot of walkers, but they were all moving around. They had a nice arts and crafts room. I liked the layout of the interior. It was like a U, and in the middle of the U was sort of an outdoor area. It had fountains, flowers, and things like that. It was in the middle of the residence, but you could walk the exterior part as well. I thought that was a nice layout. My dad does walk, and he needs to be moving. For me, it's important for him to be able to go outside and walk around that little courtyard area or around the facility.

Deciding to become a permanent resident at Stonebridge was one of the most difficult decisions I ever made. It meant leaving the home we designed and built and the friends we had made over the last twenty years. After Emma passed away and I experienced some health issues I realized that it was time to establish a new home. Many members of the staff have worked here for four or more years. They quickly knew my name; and now say hello “Ed” when I meet them in the hall. The COVID virus has limited normal interaction with other residents; however Stonebridge has not experienced the spread of the virus that has plagued so many other facilities. Opportunities to gather for exercise, games or entertainment and still maintain social distancing are a daily occurrence. The noon meal is served in the dining room while breakfast and the evening meal are delivered to the rooms. There is always a choice of meals (including a peanut butter sandwich if all else fails). I have routinely selected the heart healthy choice which today was a barbecue beef over rice and garden salad wit blueberry cake or desert. PS: I have had my first dose of the COVID vaccine here at Stonebridge and will have the next shortly.

I liked that Stonebridge at Burlington is in a good location. I liked that everything is accessible and that it's also right next to a bank. The amenities are fine, and the place looked like a luxury hotel. The room we went up to was beautiful. I was shown a nice efficiency room and we went to a nice one-bedroom, which was nice too. They only had one available at the time, which was the efficiency, and it was nice and comfortable. It's expensive; it starts at $5,600 and they have their meals planned. The staff member who gave me the tour was a very nice woman and she was very helpful. The facilities were really nice and had everything my mother needed. It's one of my top choices because of the good location and everything.

This is the most beautiful of all the assisted livings we visited for my grandmother. The people there are so friendly and nice. We are so glad we found this place, it feels like a hidden gem.

Stonebridge was a beautiful facility, but it was much more than what my brother-in-law needed, and it was more expensive. It was like a 5-star hotel, and the staff seemed very kind, but for middle-class people it's not realistic, they can't afford it. It takes your breath away, but he could not afford it, and I don't think he would fit in there.

Stonebridge at Burlington was like a big fancy hotel with a huge atrium. I think it's appealing to the people who come visit their family there, but it has a very corporate feel, and my mother wouldn't have been comfortable there. The memory unit was cleverly designed such that it had the same layout as the assisting living area, only smaller, so anyone moving from one area to the other would not be disoriented. They had massages and lots of spa-like things for the residents. The dining room looked fine, but it wasn't too big. The place was certainly clean and organized.

I did not like Stonebridge at Burlington. The staff was not very friendly. It smelled really bad at the memory unit. It was like a cold atmosphere -- i.e., not very inviting and not very friendly. The person that was supposed to give us a tour backed out because she was too busy, and she left it for somebody else who couldn’t answer our questions. I wouldn’t recommend it. I didn’t like it at all. The dining area seemed OK. It seemed clean and good, but the thing that turned me off the most was the smell. It had a horrible smell in there. They did have like a theater room and a lot of amenities, but the total experience was not a good one.

Stonebridge at Burlington was gorgeous, lovely, great, and really good. Everything was perfect about that place. It was pricey, but it was gorgeous. I couldn't fault it in any way. They had shuttle service and facilities on-site. They have an in-house movie room. I'd recommend them.

My mother is now settled at Stonebridge, and she got it through Caring.com. We chose it as it was the nicest one. I thought that the residents, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I like the clientele that was there, and it just seemed to suit my mom well. I would absolutely recommend the place. Everything is great, and I have no complaints.

I thought Stonebridge at Burlington was very beautiful. I did like it. The day that we went, a lot of the clients were on a bus trip to the JFK museum, and then they were going out to lunch, so a lot of the people weren't even there; they were on an activity. They had cards, bingo, and art classes. They had board games going on while we were there. It seemed they have quite a good amount of activities. They showed us a unit that was for two people, but they would share the kitchenette and all of that. The studio itself was too small, and our impression was that we would be just sticking our loved in a square box because she is not going to join into a lot of their activities. Nevertheless, the staff was excellent. We had lunch there, and the food was excellent.

We visited Stonebridge at Burlington, but my sister has decided that she wants to wait for now. The residents there were too old. The staff was fine; they were wonderful. The entire place was very nice. The location was good. It didn't have a pool, which was important to my sister.

Stonebridge at Burlington was bright, clean, and they have a lot of people who are active there. They have all kinds of activities. Everybody was very friendly and knew everybody's first names. The rooms were new. It was built last year. The food was almost restaurant quality. It was good and has variety. I like the participation in the activity by the residents. We went to some homes where most of the residents were sleeping during the activities.

Stonebridge is the closest to my home and it's a really good fit for my friend who needs assisted care. She has been there for two months. The facility is brand new and very beautiful. They have a movie theatre and an outdoor sitting area with a fireplace. She is staying in a studio apartment. It's nice and beautiful with cherry wood cabinets. It's a little smaller but it's perfect for one person. The bathroom is also wonderful. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. They're very engaging with the residents. There are a lot of activities that she can choose from. Food is wonderful. They do a lot of locally grown and their vegetables and fish are fresh daily. She is very happy there. I would recommend this place, in fact, I'm trying to get my husband in there now.
