I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My uncle came in May 15 2023. He had a roommate. There was no room to bring his things as furniture was already there. Walls by his bed was dirty never cleaned at request. Treated family disrespectful and poked in our matters that had nothing to do with my uncle stay. Staff was ignorant. My uncle before him passing there had open wounds on his bottom which they say were there when he went to the hospital for 3 days that is questionable never proven. I asked for a written statement of how my uncle died on 1/18/24 from Ms battle the director she said was going to give one haven’t gotten to date. Say staff was getting him ready for the day turned him over to change him;rolled him back and he just stopped breathing? I would bring his clothes and they would not use them. They would stuff his clothes in the utility closet? I came after he passed away to get his belongings they had them in a trash bag just like he was trash. I will never forget such an experience. I had to speak with someone to get through that in humane trama. They acted like nothing took place. How do you do such a thing? Mrs Gross not concerned about giving my name!

Woodmore House Assisted Living is a very good place. It has activities going on, and it gets you up every day and not let you lay in bed. It's very expensive though. The facility itself and the care they give to my husband and the people stand out the most. I would recommend it if people can afford it.

I visited this facility

Woodmore house assisted living is not what it appears to be when advertised on their site. I took my mother's there one day to get a tour of the faculty and the place was filthy. It didn't appear to be as clean as it should be and it didn't seem like it was a home like environment. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This assisted living needs a lot of work for me to even consider putting my mother there

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I chose Woodmore House because my wife could roam around in it, and she has a roommate. They have activities, serve three meals a day, and give her medication. It is ideal for her. The staff is nice, friendly, and attentive. They engage her, and they give her something to do even if it is only folding clothes. They make her a part of the establishment.

I visited this facility

I have a chance to visit Woodmore House for my sister. They offer different levels of care. Aside from their assisted living, they also have memory care. If my sister gets to the point where she needs nursing care, they also have that for her there. I am very impressed with their program. They also said that they have lots of things for their residents. They have arts, crafts, and outings. They have a courtyard there where residents can go outside; however, the whole facility is secure, so they can't just leave this place. I would love to have my sister live in Woodmore.
