Our communities offer transportation via our luxury van to and from appointments and activities.

Accepted Answer

Our communities are electronically monitored and all doors are alarmed to prevent any elopement. We utilize the 20min fire regulations for all our doors and we do have a sprinkler system for fire codes standards.

What is the care staff-to-resident ratio at Serenity Gardens Assisted Living II during daytime and nighttime hours?

Accepted Answer

To prevent any injury and to assure the safety of all our residents our staffing metric composes of overnight staffs who work from 7 pm to 7 am. This is in addition to our staffing ration of 3:2 in all our communities

Accepted Answer

At serenity Gardens our residents are involved in activities of physical, social, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and sensory stimulation. Our Montessori approach for Dementia Care is essential in helping our residents to fully enjoy our enrichment program. In the summertime, we utilize our tennis court and swimming pool.  Daily walk let’s move program and chair Tai Chi are our resident’s favorite physical programs.  Our exercise room is set up with various exercise machines, individually and personally geared to each resident's capability.

Accepted Answer

It is our practice that resident's loved ones or responsible party is notified off all unforeseen events immediately. Our methods are generally phone call, then text.to the primary POA then to our secondary contact.

What makes the chef or dining program at Serenity Gardens Assisted Living II exceptional? What kind of menu can assisted living residents expect?

Accepted Answer

Menus are prepared by our Dietitian, and meals are personalized according to the resident’s preference and disease conditions.

Accepted Answer

Our community, unfortunately, does not accept pets.  However, we do participate in pet therapy once monthly.

Accepted Answer

Our communities are electronically monitored and all doors are alarmed to prevent any elopement. Our overnight staff works from 7 pm to 7 am to prevent any elopement, falls, and injuries to all our residents.

All staff is trained in communication, CPR, First Aid infection control, Dementia care, Falls, Prevention, Food Safety, Emergency Disaster plans.

Accepted Answer

Our communities generally house residents ages 55 and above whose medical and psychological conditions vary.  Residents experience a nurturing environment focused on preserving dignity, and is always involved in client-centered life enrichment programs. We find that the Montessori Approach for Dementia Care works well with our residents. Our residents look forward to their daily tea party, biweekly massage therapy, and group physical exercise program.
