My mother is 95 years old and has had a lot of falls over the past few years. Lately she fell and broke her left shoulder. Once she went into the hospital for the shoulder break we noticed a sharp cognitive decline. Long story short, she can't live by herself anymore so we put her in Heart Homes. That was yesterday. My first visit to the facility. I was very impressed with the facilities and the staff and the support they have for my Mom. I will continue to visit most every day but at least when I am away I can trust that my Mom is well taken care of in a family atmosphere.

Heart Homes at Pasadena was very clean, and I loved that everybody had their own private room and private bath. It had a nice setup for the living room area, entertainment area, and dining room. The menu looked good.

My mom was in Heart Homes for almost a month. I wasn’t impressed with the way the food was prepared. I did not like the tone of voice the people that worked there used or how they talked to her. They overlooked giving her medication; I found it when I got there, so she was able to take it.

My mother is at Heart Homes, and it is a very nice place. The staff are very polite and efficient. The room is adequate. They do bingo and sing alongs, and they also have couple of arts and crafts for them. I haven’t eaten there, but my mother says the food is OK.

Mom likes Heart Homes. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. They do have some activities, too. I understand the food is quite good. The facility is very bright. The room is still fairly small, but it has porch and a private bath.
