The room was bad, TV in the wrong spot and played so loud the whole room could hear it. To the point you had to talk loudly. Should be like they have it in hospital. Room was not clean most of the time. One room where bed would be turn into a storage area. Food, I don't know. The male nurse that was suppose to be taken care of my father, could not speak good English, and was not very friendly or helpful. The other nurses or people at the desk had to translate him words. My father was in the facility as Rehab, after week one still could not get out of bed and was not getting better. The week before he passed, he finally got a floating bed after he got a bed sore. He stayed there no more than 5 weeks, and left with collapse lung, blood clot and pneumonia, Question is how was this missed. Someone or combination of people did not do their due diligence. Hence my father is passed do to neglect. Sure they feed him, but he was not drinking enough fluids and was also dehydrated. My stepmother also played a part.

This place isn’t fit for a dog. As I’m writing I’m sitting in the facility. What a joke!!! It’s filthy. These poor elderly people deserve more than this place!! Activities are minimal, literally starts at 2:30 and is over at 3:30. Then nothing. If you are a visitor, your expected to care for the patient while the staff sit behind the nurses station. A family member found their loved one deceased over the weekend. Seen several falls. Including my family member! They do not check on them hourly or even at all if they have a visitor. The kitchen can’t even get the diets straight Joke!!!!

I am so happy I chose Autumn Lake Riverview for my mom to receive rehab there. The entire nursing staff were wonderful. Her room was very spacious and cleaned everyday. She was able to pick her own meals. I feel they were always there to meet herneeds. The entire staff were very friendly and always made me feel welcomed when I came to visit

My father is 96 years old with dementia/alzheimer. He was admitted to Riverview Rehabilitation Center to regain strength and mobility after pneumonia. He was only there for approximately 14 hours before my father fell and is now suffering with a broken hip and is currently back in the hospital for surgery. Even though the staff at Riverview were completely aware my father suffers from dementia/alzheimer and would need extra precautions to prevent him for getting out of bed on his own, they failed to ensure his safety and my father was able to get out of bed and fell trying to get to the bathroom. I strongly caution anyone concerning this facility to think twice. This tragedy could be your loved one!

My mom has been getting rehab at Riverview Care Center since April. I like the place, and they're wonderful. She's in a semi-private room and goes for occupational and physical therapy on Monday through Saturday. There are private air conditions in the room so you could control it, and the rooms are clean. She's fallen a few times, and they call us right away when that happens. It's great.

Riverview staff seems to be very nice. My Dad was there for 9 months then in April 2014 he passed from dehydration. No one should die from dehydration. I feel like the staff was negligent in not making sure that he had enough fluids. There were many times also that I found fecal matter on the bathroom floor and on furniture that they had in the hallway for their residents. It's taken me a long time to get up the nerve to post a review. Still not over my Dad's death.
