My mother was a resident of Lighthouse Senior Living for a year before her passing. I was very pleased with the quality of care she received during that time. The staff was very attentive, professional and caring. I visited often and never felt like she was neglected. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained and I would definitely recommend Lighthouse Senior Living for a loved one.

I like the way Lighthouse Senior Living Ellicott City was laid out, and I liked the number of activities and things like that. The man that gave me the tour was the sales director. He was very talkative. The facility was very well maintained. He showed me several different types of rooms. The atmosphere was very friendly. The staff introduced me to several of the patients, and they were all very friendly. The room was well laid out. The only thing was, I felt that the rooms were small, and even the cheapest room was way more than I could afford.

Lighthouse Senior Living at Ellicott City was a very nice place and had good amenities. The staff was very knowledgeable, and friendly, and gave us a good and thorough tour. The rooms were a little small but adequate. The facility was very neat and clean. The dining area was a little small but adequate. I didn't observe any activity because it was lunchtime.

I went to Lighthouse Senior Living at Ellicott City. Everyone was very pleasant. Even the clients that were sitting around were smiling. They didn't look like they were going to die that day, they were enthusiastic about life. The apartments were adequate for my needs. They were pretty big. I spoke to some of the ladies who were living there. They seemed pleased with their rooms. I looked in one or two of the rooms of the people that were sitting there and they let us come in and look, and they seemed like they were adequate for what I need. They showed me the library and the beauty salon, and the courtyard was very nice and shady with tables and umbrellas. It was really neat. It looks very clean and new. It didn't look rundown.

I toured Lighthouse Senior Living at Ellicott City. Everything was on one floor. They showed the entire place, not everything, but a lot of what was there. We ate in the cafeteria or the dining room. The staff that I met was very pleasant. They have a room and a bathroom, and of course, that costs more. The room could also be two rooms together, and we share a bathroom; each room is private. The staff was very nice. He contacted me more than a couple of times to see if I was interested; it's given me encouragement. He said to me that they would love to have me. I have received that message a few times, so that makes you feel good. I had lunch there and the food was good. The building was very clean and great. It's very peaceful. They have some places to go and sit with visitors, or like somebody in your family or friend who just sits there, or by yourself, and meditates. It's not big but it's big enough, and it's landscaped beautifully.

We visited Lighthouse Senior Living at Ellicott City. It was a very warm and welcoming environment. The director, Alex, was outstanding. I liked that he knew all of the residents by name, and all of the residents seemed very happy there. It was clean. It didn't smell like a hospital. It seemed just the right size for us. It wasn't too big or too small. It seemed very well kept. The director, Alex, would be a good reason as to why we would go there. The one problem was the rooms are very small. The menus looked good, but we didn't try them.

We went to look at Lighthouse Senior Living in Ellicott City. The facility had all of the services we were looking for. It had the advantage of being very close to where we live. It's within walking distance, so that was attractive as well. The staff members there were very accommodating. We were impressed with the cleanliness, the facilities, and the staff that we spoke with. We visited a one-bedroom apartment as well as a suite. There were three different-sized rooms available to visit. The other thing we liked was that the facility provided the furniture. There were daily activities available to the residents. In addition to the three meals, there were snacks available as well. They have activities that address various interests. The residents have the option of participating or not, and there are many activities available. We were told that we could visit at any time. We could just give them a call and let them know we're on our way. We had 24-hour access if we needed to see our relatives, so that was very encouraging as well. The staff had been there for long periods of time, so their expertise and experiences are there in the facility.

It is very pleasant and nice. They appear to be caring with the patients. My mom is in their memory care unit. They have activities for residents to do, and they try to keep their minds busy. The rooms are nice. They have very big bathrooms with showers, closets, and shelves. They're good size, too. My mom has assistance when she needs it. The dining area is standard. They usually put a board up that tell the residents what they're having for their next meal. I like this place because I see that the people that work with Mom seem to genuinely enjoy helping their patients, and it is not just a job to them.
