My parents have lived at Heartfields in Easton for a year now. Our family has been very happy with the care they are given. Mom now participates in many of the activities offered, thank to Jan, the best activities director in town! Dad even participates now too!! The nurses are very attentive and more importantly, excellent at communicating when we have questions about our parents. The building is always decorated in keeping with the seasons or occasions of the year making it feel very festive for residents and visitors alike. I would highly recommend Heartfields in Easton to anyone having to make a decision for someone(s) who need additional care and assistance with their daily living.

HeartFields Assisted Living at Easton was a great place. The staff was very friendly, very informative, and very knowledgeable of everything you ask them, every question you ask. The rooms were small but large enough for a bed and dresser. They had a little kitchenette, which would probably consist of maybe a microwave and a refrigerator. It depends on what you want, you could get a deluxe one that was a little bit bigger. They all had walk-in showers, very clean, very modern, very nice. The dining area was very nice, a lot larger, and it looks like a very pleasant place to sit and have dinner. I didn't see a library, but there were books and stuff around. There are snacks for the people that live there. They have a beauty shop there, a little exercise place, and you can go on your own to go out if you choose to go. I guess some of the people there chose yesterday to get together. They wanted to go to one of the other restaurants around Easton to eat. They had places like a garden outside it, and they have a porch you can sit on. I saw some residents sitting around and talking, and they were doing something, but I couldn't tell what it was.

HeartFields was a very nice facility fairly close to where I'm living. It was one I would very much consider. It had nice rooms and facilities.

HeartFields at Easton didn’t seem as active as I have wanted for her. She didn’t like to participate, but she likes to see the activities. They have a lot of people coming and going in the facility. The rooms were a bit bigger.

Do not place your loved one with Alzheimer's at HeartFields. They are absolutely unequipped and unable to handle the behavioral issues that accompany 80% of people with the disease. They made serious medical mistakes while my husband was there, leading him to being hospitalized and eventually moved to another facility that only handles people with Alzheimer's. At first HF was very apologetic and offered the med tech who was responsible to either quit or be retrained. But there were subsequent errors in which the med techs ignored doctors' orders to discontinue drugs which contributed to his behavioral problems. They also ignored my efforts to have someone treat his cough, resulting in pneumonia, which also exacerbated his behavior. When he was moved out of HF the new facility immediately ordered an x-ray and treated the pneumonia. Other issues: The unit is small and confining for a person with Alzheimer's; staff is not well-trained regarding Alzheimer's; very few activities available. The HF staff seems well-meaning, and their answer to my complaints was that they need to protect their staff and deal with disruptive behavior. Yes, they do. But their actions and inactions definitely contributed to my husband's behavior, and medical mistakes could have been extremely serious. Something is very wrong there, and I would advise any family looking to place their family member with Alzheimer's to stay away from HeartFields at Easton.

What I liked about HeartFields is that they have activities for everybody. The food was cooked by a chef and was very good food. And also the rooms are like little apartments, but they don't have stove. The staff were very attentive. They do a very good job on taking care of people with dementia. The place is very clean.

As good as it gets! A warm, well maintained, state of the art facility, with fine food, staffed by friendly, competent, caring people who really try to please. People consider me hard to please (I've read Consumer Reports for decades), but HeartFields has succeeded.

Our decision to use HeartFields at Easton as an assisted living option for my Father was based on our visiting and discussions with several such facilities. We chose HeartFields partly because it offered a beautifully open, well laid out, and obviously well cared for facility. Our primary reason, however, for choosing HeartFields was the professional and warm reception that was provided by the staff from our first visit to the facility and continues until the present time. I can't say enough about Melissa and her staff (Matt, Steve, Wendy, Peggy,Kendra and the nursing staff and other attendants). Together, they made a 95 year old man feel almost like it was home very quickly. He never stops telling us how well he is taken care of by all concerned. I would highly recommend HeartFields at Easton to anyone who has a need for assisted living services.

The facility is top-notch. My mom's apartment is very nice. She's adjusting to being in an assisted living situation. The director of Heartfields, Melissa, is qualified and extremely helpful in both explaining the services and also helping the clients adjust to new situation. Peggy, their head nurse practitioner is also very good and helpful. The chef does a great job, and the food is good. The general staff who does the cleaning, who serves me, all seem to be very kind and good at their jobs.
