Brightview Crofton Riverwalk was beautiful. It was a nice community. Everyone there was pretty nice. The apartments were also really nice and pretty spacious. They have a good program and the residents seemed to like it there. Overall, it was a nice place. It's something that my mother would consider. However, I thought it was a little too expensive. I looked at the dining area and the menus that they have there. It was nice. They had a patio, a waterfall, and cooking utensils. It's very spacious, too, and the upkeep was nice. Everything was clean and well- managed. The receptionist was nice and the manager was very nice. I had a really good experience.

I noticed that Brightview Crofton Riverwalk was very open. The lobby was very welcoming, very open, and had a lot of seating. It just looked like a very nice hotel setting. The staff was extremely nice. I did go there at maybe 4:00, so it was a little bit busy, maybe for the people. Mark, whom I met there, showed me the whole place where we could engage if we had a family gathering or something. He showed me the calendar for their activities, where they would meet for lunch or dinner. We need a tour of the building. It was very nice. That one was very nice. The rooms were open. The tables were not very close together, which I think was good for anybody with a walker or a wheelchair. I noticed that the seating arrangement was very open, which made it accommodating for wheelchairs or people with walkers, so they were less maneuvering in between. It was high on my list. I felt that it was a very warm and comforting place for my mom because I saw that the residents were very engaged with each other and they were engaged with the staff, very friendly with each other. And when we walked around, I saw that the gentleman spoke to everyone walking, and they all knew his name, which made me comfortable because that means that they already have good communication with everybody there. Because if all the residents know who he is, that means that he's talked to everybody at least once or twice for them to know who he is.

Brightview Crofton Riverwalk is fairly new, and you could tell that everything had a crisp and clean look. They offered a range of rooms. They were not as wide as the other one we looked at, but they were pleasant. They had a nice fitness center. There was not a pool, but they offered a range of activities. Their menu looked good (although their breakfast is only a continental, which probably something left to be desired). I dealt with a couple more people there, and all of them were very accommodating. We came away really liking the place because of the way it looks, the way it was laid out, and what it offered. If we based the price on a monthly payment only, they are more expensive. The good thing is they only had a $5000 entrance fee. The only drawback was that it was in a less pleasant setting.

Brightview Crofton Riverwalk was very classy. They had fireplaces, happy hour places, and a theater. The staff was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The facility was really lovely. It just wasn't my cup of tea. It was a much smaller place. They had a small gym, a theater, and central communal areas that were beautiful. The upkeep was top-notch.

My father will be moving into Brightview Crofton Riverwalk. It was very nice and very modern. It has everything my dad needs. It's very clean and very secure. The staff was very friendly, very courteous, and answered all the questions we had. The apartment was roughly 700 square feet. It's adequate to meet my father's needs. There's plenty of space, and it's airy and light. I liked the fact that all of his needs are taken care of: the security, meals, social interaction, and things like that. They have a salon, a workout room, game room, and a movie theater. The menus looked fine, and the dining area was very nice.

We are going into Brightview Crofton Riverwalk. The staff and residents we spoke with were very friendly and very helpful. We had dinner there, and the food was very good. We were very pleased with our tour and with what we found out. They have a doctor, ophthalmologist, dental care, and a nurse. They have a salon and numerous amenities. The facility is very new, clean, and pleasant. We feel good that we're going to make this move. The food was well prepared.

Brightview Crofton Riverwalk was a new community. It was beautifully decorated and furnished. It was like stepping into a hotel with all the modern day conveniences, fitness center, and current equipment. As you enter the memory care floor, it's nice looking with the waterfall outside the door. Leading up to it looked very nice, and the lobbies were gorgeous with a piano. I just didn't see any form of diversity at all. The rooms were huge (which was great), and they had fish tanks, but I also didn't see anything that kind of promoted curiosity and interest. The space where they would bring the rest of them together to do things was very small. The main thing for me was cost, which continues to adjust all the time and that the residents were very, very much up in age. The person who did the tour was all business. I felt like I was literally talking to a sales rep. He couldn't give me any information in terms of what do the loved ones of the residents think about the place. He was pretty much just promoting what they offer and the pricing, and that was it. He was not, to me, really invested in the care. The dining area looked very nice, though. The facility was very modern, and their coffee was fantastic.

We have chosen Brightview Crofton Riverwalk for my mom. It just had everything that we were looking for. It's brand new and extremely clean. The facility, amenities, and the ratio of residents to staff, everything worked like we wanted to. They have many places to go to sit in and engage with other people, both indoors and outdoors. They have an actual movie theater and an actual library. We haven't eaten there, but they don't use the service. They actually have a chef and they prepare all the meals on the grounds in the restaurant. The facility was spotless. They have a lot of activities. They go take them out. They leave the facility I think twice a week or once a week. They have an arts and crafts center there, cooking demonstrations, and a pub. There's a lot for them to do.

We've chosen Brightview Crofton Riverwalk for my father-in-law. It's new, beautiful, very clean, and at the time we went in, they've had no COVID at all in the facility. The area where he will be is secure, there's a beautiful outdoor area, and the room is nice sized. We've had food there, and it was excellent. He went with us the second time we went and he was impressed. It's just very homey, and it's not too big. The memory care unit is big enough that it's not claustrophobic, but it's small enough, I think it's a 24-room, that he won't get lost. The rooms were in a T-shape hall, and he won't have to deal with an elevator to get to his food. The staff seemed very friendly and kind.

We looked at Brightview Crofton Riverwalk. It's brand new. It's about a year old. I like that it's kinda high scale. I like the amenities that they had and even though it's COVID, they were taking all of the precautions. The rooms were very nice. The model room was awesome, and then we saw rooms that weren't models. The sizes were pretty decent. They showed us a good variety, apartments with and without dens and apartments with and without balconies. Brightview Crofton Riverwalk doesn't have an entry fee, but it has a community fee of $5000. A 1-bedroom that had a balcony was about $5075, and for a second person, it's another $1000. The staff was very good, seemed knowledgeable and accommodating. They took us all around, and they were friendly. Their amenities were comparable to some of the others that I looked at. They had a library, housekeeping, transportation, theater room, happy hour, two meals a day, and a chef on the premise. This place has the bells and whistles, and looking at the price, one would expect that. We looked at the menu, but we didn't try the food.
