I've toured The Lodges Care Center. I like it all. I thought it was excellent. The food is excellent. They have a lot of stuff going on for the elderly. They have an exercise room and a nice backyard. It's in the country. There's nothing about it that I didn't think was excellent. They also do trips with them, and they have a bus. Whenever something's going on, they take the ones that can with them. The staff is very upbeat. There's a lot of young people. They all seem to love their job and they care for the elderly. I still go to visit my former client and I always take her to the dining room. The food is excellent, well prepared, and looks good. They plate it really nicely. They had a nice dining room with a fireplace. It's set up well. Since this company took it over, they redid the whole thing. It's beautiful. I did exercise with my client. They have music playing and they do all kinds of exercise with them, but they make it interesting. I had a little snack with them, and I was there when her physical therapist came and she did a lot of activities with her. I asked a lot of questions, and they were very good at answering. They also have a hairdresser, and she gets her hair done right in the facility once a week.

My husband will be moving to The Lodges Care Center in Springvale. It's assisted living, and I have toured the place. It's very nice, but there are no luxuries. Everybody up to this point, has bent over backward to help with the move, help with information, and have been very attentive every time we've toured. They also seemed very professional.

My mother-in-law has moved into The Lodges Care Center. It's a very small, homey, clean, friendly community. The staff is awesome. They're very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were very helpful to get her in there. She has said that the food is good since she's been there. She's in a semi-private room with its own bathroom. It's a good-sized room. She's got her own bureau and an end table that has three drawers, so she's got plenty of closet space. Her roommate is great. She's very happy with the room. The dining area looks like a dining room where you go out to dinner, it's got a fireplace, and it's very nice. The place is impeccable. It's very clean and it doesn't smell. Everything is clean. You don't see any spots; you don't see anything. Everything looks great. There's a salon there, they have three different TV rooms, they have an activity room with a bunch of puzzles in it, there's a room with a fish tank in it where people can go and look at the fish, there are two decks outside that people can sit out on, and there's a van to take them to appointments. With the activities, they go for a ride in the van also. They were doing Easter crafts when I was there. They have music every Wednesday, and on Thursday they have a religious service. The calendar was very full; they have a full activities department. They have their own doctor there, which I like. The doctor comes once a week to see the clients. They go there to draw blood, too. You don't have to take the person out to go and have the bloodwork done. It's a one-stop shopping. Right now, I think the value for the money is great. It's not that expensive, and my mother-in-law got everything she needs. They are giving her medications, and she gets showers. Everything is included. Her bed linens are included. They will do her laundry if we want them to, but I'm doing her laundry for her. The only thing that's not included there is cable TV, and she wants her own phone.

The Lodges Care Center was very nice. They had a lot of things that would be good for my father. He likes to walk, and there's plenty of places to walk. The dining facility looked good. The people were nice and they gave me a tour of the place. It's a really good place. The dining area was very clean. They didn't allow me back in the kitchen because they were under the Covid protocols. They didn't want anybody in the kitchen. There's plenty of dayrooms. We got to view a couple of the rooms that he will be staying in. They had one-bedrooms, but he will probably wind up with a roommate. They had two people to a room for the most part, but there's plenty of room for two people in there. They had a shared bathroom, and it was fairly large and nice. They had a big deck outside and they had cookouts. From what I saw, the people that were living there seemed to be happy with this facility, and they seemed nice.

This place is all cozy to outside visitors.. But if you live here its a different story !!!! They get paid $160 a day for your stay here and feed you sandwich's every night for supper !!! Not even good sandwich's piece of meat between two slices of bread no lettuce tomatoes etc... And for lunch if you dont like what there serving your told only thing they can give you is a peanut butter sandwich !!!! Show you how phony this place is last week state workers were here for two days you were served a normal meal for supper.. But the next day after they left back to bland sandwhich's for supper!!! Your loved ones deserve better management even serve's beer once a month to men who get a shave from staff !!! Sounds like a great idea serve your loved ones alcohal.. again management is cluless here to get a pay check.. investagate before you let your loved one stay here!!!!

My visit with The Lodges Care Center was very good. We were offered tea, coffee, and cookies. It's not a very large complex, it's dated, but kept clean, and there's remodeling in some areas. The dining room was attractive and the bathrooms were clean and large. The staff was kind, pleasant, helpful, and informative. It was very homey, pleasant, and comfortable, and the people seemed very happy.

I liked The Lodges because it was near our house. Our aunt would have her own room and bathroom if she would stay there. The place was very clean as well. They had entertainment and a bus took the residents to appointments, shopping and outings.
