Memory Care at Market Square is a residential care facility in South Paris. Located in the Oxford Hills Region near the Androscoggin River, this former mill and factory town is now known for its small-town charm and proximity to beautiful scenic destinations in the western Maine foothills.
This community was an addition to the Market Square Healthcare Facility, providing care to seniors who have dementia, Alzheimer's disease or related conditions. Respite care and hospice care are also available at this location. Specially trained staff members are awake and available 24 hours a day. Up to 16 residents can live here at a time, and all residents must be age 40 or older. The building was originally constructed in 1990, renovated in 2008 and decorated with comfortable, neat materials and finishes to create a homelike environment. Residents live in semi-private rooms with completely separated sleeping areas and kitchenettes for keeping snacks on hand.
Meals are included for residents and food service is available 24 hours a day. All residents receive free Wi-Fi and cable satellite TV. Personal housekeeping laundry, dry cleaning and grocery shopping services are also available as needed, and an on-site salon provides both hair and beauty treatments.
