We found Fallbrook Woods. It fit our needs for our aunt, and intake went very smoothly. So far everything's good. It hasn't been that long, just three weeks. The interaction with the staff has been over the phone, email, and text. Everything, has been very congenial. It's been very convenient. All the interaction has been quite exceptional. I know they have exercise classes. They have gardening and a library.

Most of the staff (caregivers) were extremely polite, friendly, compassionate, and patient. But overall; didn't have a great experience with FallBrook. I scheduled a lunchtime meeting with my Grandmother (I would drive 50 minutes one way to see her for lunch once a month). I arrived for our scheduled time, and was told I could not see my Grandmother because she was sick. No one called me, emailed, texted- nothing. They said because I was not the direct contact for my Grandmother they would only call my Uncle. I said... my uncle isn't the one that scheduled the lunch... my Uncle lives 1,500 miles away. I made the meeting. And they had my phone number. So they wasted two hours of my time, and wouldn't let me see my Grandmother. She became unresponsive a day or two later, a day or two after that- she died. No one in the family ever saw her or spoke to her again. Thanks Fallbrook Woods for no providing the simple curtesy of telling me the lunch was off, and thanks for preventing me from seeing her conscious one last time before she died.

I would not recommend Fallbrook to any family member considering placing their loved one in a facility for care. I noticed a significant decline in my grandmother's health and personal hygiene after she moved to Fallbrook. The facility seemed understaffed. I once looked for over thirty minutes to find a staff person that could help my grandmother with a need she had. It frightened me to think that my grandmother might need some kind of help or support when I wasn't there and she wouldn't have anyone available to help her. The facility is clean and many of the staff are friendly, but when I brought some concerns to the Administrator in charge, she was dismissive and made excuses for what I had observed. She seemed like she didn't have time to listen.

My loved one resides at Fallbrook. The facility is clean, but seems habitually understaffed. Since moving to Fallbrook, my family member's personal and dental hygiene has declined significantly. Fallbrook, compared to other assisted living facilities in the area, seems to be run more like a business than a health care facility. Everything appears fine on the surface, but if you spend any amount of time there, you begin to notice the that the facility is not family friendly and that the residents receive very little personal attention. When I brought my concerns to the Administrator in charge, she was dismissive and did not appear to take my concerns seriously. .

After much stress and anxiety, we finally had to place our mom in a facility where she could have 24/7 care and supervision. It was a hard thing to do, but I can't imagine any better place than Fallbrook Woods. It's beautiful, warm, and bright. The facility is always clean, and so are the residents. The food is prepared from scratch and appetizing. But the best part is the care. The staff is kind, caring, and connected. I've never seen anything like it. And the activities they have planned make all of us jealous that we aren't there as well! Honestly, I cannot give enough of a glowing review!

Fallbrook Woods was very nice but not at all homey. The staff was fine and very technically oriented and sophisticated. I could feel that it was more a business rather than a care facility. They were very business-like. I didn't get to see any of the individual rooms because they were too busy to show them to me that day, and I just felt like the public areas were very crowded.
