Russell Park Rehabilitation & Living Center seems fine. My sister likes it. Everyone seems very friendly. They have a nice cafeteria with choices of meals. It's a larger facility. They have a quite large rec room where people enjoy doing crafts and painting, which is nice because that's what my sister does. They have a nice outside garden area. They have wider halls compared to her last facility, which is nice, so you don't have too much trouble getting through the facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food looks good. She says it's good, and she likes having three choices. You can go to the cafeteria and sit and get waited on there, or you can eat in your room or the rec room. Their dining area is very nice. Everything looked good. My sister is in a double room. They're both in wheelchairs, so it is kind of hard to get around at times. That's just how it worked out. It's a little tight if you're both in wheelchairs because someone has to move so the other one can get by and get out the door.

They pick favorites and the ones they don't like they will leave in dirty depends and pain for hours and then try to silence the loved ones that demand action.

My family member is in there and they lost her clothes when she went in. Christmas we bought her wrapped gifts and they kept one and opened it when we called about it they mysteriously found it and brought it to her unwrapped . This time of year is when you want to be with your family and with the Covid we cant see them but for them to not get her gifts when we bring them, how many other residents didn't receive there gifts.

My mom has been here for 2 years she started out in assisted living ,this is an older facility her care was good although she needed to be in nursing section . The staff was great ! She was moved to nursing side the care is not so good at all and thats where we need it to be better . The staff seems to like to socialize more than take care of patients ,what little staff there is . I heard a person crying for help took 20 minutes for someone to come . I have tried to get info to move my mom to another facility I asked 3 times its not happening anytime soon ,so I have to get help another way . Russell Park is not a good permanent place for your loved one and just ok for a temporary stay .

My sister in law was a patient for about 4 months in the rehab section. I stayed with her for 3 or 4 weekends {I'm from out of state} The staff were great and very respectful to the patients, always greeeting patients by their name as they passed in the halls. Rooms were cleaned and floors mopped daily The physical and occupational therapists were excellent. Overall care was very good. The house Dr. was very nice and explained everything. The only negative was the food was hit or miss.

This facility is a large nursing home. When I first walked into the place, I was welcomed by the more than helpful staff. There is a small coffee machine always stocked full of coffee, creamer, and sugar just past the door. Past the main lobby and receptionist desk, is a hallway leading to the nurse's station. This area is always free of any obstructions in case of an emergency. I have noticed that the main hallways and community rooms are always clean, as well. I've spent a lot of time in the Russell Park main community room, where they have nightly activities, such as crocheting, bingo, and much more. The staff are friendly, hospitable, and responsible. There are a lot of areas inside and out to enjoy yourself and relax. I have never had a problem with either the cleanliness, the staff, or the medical/care procedures. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that needs constant care or even a bit of company.
