My mother was a resident for 5 months until her passing. The staff were very and attentive to my mother and our families needs. Mom was very well cared for. I had great comfort in knowing she was safe and every need was met. Mom loved the food and was happy there. This facility was a blessing when I could no longer care for her at home.

If I wanted to put anyone in a facility that needs help with Alzheimer's disease I would admit them to Sedgewood Commons just like I have with my Husband. The staff have been wonderful and friendly and very helpful with my husband and with me. When I leave after visiting with him I have every confidence he is being well cared for.

This facility was horrible. The staff was rude and it appeared that the residents were not well cared for. There did not appear to be a structured HR department as the person greeting me seemed to be acting in this capacity but was not an HR person. The place was very dirty and had a fowl odor throughout the building. The grounds seems to be well taken care of but the inside was not very pleasant. The staff that I met that day were no very nice, in fact I would describe them as down right rude. No one seemed to be happy, not the managers, or the nursing staff, or the residents. It seemed to be a very low moral organization and not a place where one would want to work or live. Needless to say although a position on this staff was offered to me what I turned it down as I did not wish to work in such a negative environment.
