I recommend that potential clients ask lots of detaled questions and look closely at staff training, administartive professioanlism and cleanliness of facility before deciding on Prince Point. Our father was a resident of Prince Point in Falmouth for two years. We removed him when it became clear that the level of care was sub par. We began to suspect neglect when he became dehydrated, lost significant weight and developed untreated infections. He appeared unbathed, hungry and stressed every time we visited. When we sought support for these issues, staff was hard to find inside the facility. Additionally, verbal communication with emplyees was a barrier. Emails and calls to the office staff were often left unanswered. We regret subjecting our fragile dad to the anxiety and fear he endured while residing at Prince Point.

Horrible. Understaffed, Lake of Training, Failure to report and document falls, and total patient neglect. The management takes no responsibility or accountability. When our loved one was transported to the hospital from a horrible fall the ER doctor was so disgusted with Prince Point’s report of the incident (or lack thereof) they agreed to hospital admission until an alternative accommodation could be arranged. I am truly worried and frightened for the existing residents of Prince Point. Please check on them, check on them often and put them on a wait list to move before they suffer as our loved one has.

We have moved our family member from what is now known as Prince Point. Our family member needed help with physical care, but she is still smart as a tack. The management treated her like a child, the food was terrible despite promises to do better, activities were either non-existent or targeted at the level of an elementary school class. There are no trips out into the community for shopping, eating out, concerts, or just going for a ride. The facilities look nice, but there are areas not accessible to wheelchairs and access to the patio was blocked although the patio is a high point of the tour. Finally medical care with the facility doctor is non-existent, normal safety measures are not in place, and the staff, while well meaning, is mostly untrained. Communicating with the staff by telephone or email is impossible. Many of these observations can be rectified, and I hope they will be.

Falmouth by the Sea was a very small facility. The rooms were lovely. The refrigerators were small, but they were willing to work with the individual to assist with that and if something else was needed. I didn't see much going on there. They had had a COVID breakout, so they were keeping things pretty locked down. I didn't see a lot of people out and about like I did at another facility. Things were pretty quiet. The staff I met were wonderful though.
Think twice!

I hope you look way past the ocean view and prime piece of real estate to see the truth. My mother was a resident for 4 years. The 2 caring staff members are overworked and underpaid. The administration are cold and uncaring of anything other then making money. This facility is HORRIBLE!!!!!

MY father was a resident of this facility for almost two years. It was the most stressful time of my life. The administration did not listen to any of my concerns and the staff are few and far between. On paper they are "covered" but they count the med tech (who can't help at all except for meds) and the desk person etc....it is very hard to get help when you need it and patients go uncared for often. The facility looks beautiful - but look beyond the ocean view.....

My father has been moved in to Foreside Harbor for a week now. We have another relative that has been there for two years, so we were very pleased that they had an opening as we are familiar there. The rooms and apartments are beautiful, spacious, and clean. I went over there for lunch today. I had seafood Alfredo, and it was very good. The dining room is beautiful. It’s right on the ocean and has a beautiful view. The people in the dining room are kind of like waiters and waitresses; they really attend to everybody’s needs. They also know the people’s dietary restriction. If somebody orders something that they are not supposed to have, then they’re on that as well. They have a lot of entertainment that comes in, people that do lectures, play games, and movies. They have a lady there with a van, and she does shopping, they have tours, and they have arts and crafts. I think the security and safety is excellent. The price sucks you out, but they are right in tune with everybody else.

Falmouth by the Sea had an excellent facility. They did have beds available but I was concerned because it is a very exquisite and elite place so I know that once the hundred days are over, it was going to be very expensive. The staff was very attentive and there seemed to be quite a few staff members running around. I didn't see anybody who was dissatisfied or cranky or they didn't look like they were being unattended. It didn't have any urine smells, it looked fairly classy. The rooms were semi-private from what I remember. I saw the assisted living, it is all self pay and it was all upscale. They had dining areas that were more of tables that were set up so that there would be four or five people that could sit at the table and they had table cloths. It didn't look like a nursing home area, it was very nice.
