My mother moved into Oakwood Village Assisted Living. I chose it for the Hometown feel and convenience. I like the care that she is getting. There's not anything I don't like. They are very attentive to my mother's needs. She's just been there two weeks, three weeks maximum. They have bingo, bible study, they have crafts. They have outings if she chooses to go on the van to go on a lunch outing. They do have a salon. They have a nice fireplace in the common area, TVs, outdoor seating, and a sidewalk so that residents can go outside and walk.

Oakwood Village Assisted Living looked like a much newer facility. When we were there, they were having lunch and it smelled good. The rooms didn't have any carpet in them, which we thought was pretty good. It had a wood laminated floor instead. They had a mini fridge and you could bring your own microwave. They also had a salon, and a gym, and they showed us a little art room where they did projects and stuff. It's updated and well taken care of. The staff was informative and seemed like they cared about their residents.

I wish I could rate this place a 0!! They’re very unprofessional and rude. They can NOT perform their job duties correctly and when they got called out for doing their job wrong, they laughed and told me not to worry about it. They smell like weed and give 0 f’s about their job. There’s 3 nurses I would consider 5 stars, unfortunately I didn’t get their names. It’s depressing and it stinks. I always hear a lady crying for help and no one helps calm her down. It’s a mess you do NOT want to deal with especially for someone you love!!

Nurses could have a more friendly approach to people and not act as though they are disinterested in their jobs.

We chose Oakwood Village Assisted Living, and my mother moved there. I was told by several people and my mother that the food is delicious. There are activities every day, they have transportation, and the room is very spacious, and the dining area looks like the dining room you find in your home, but bigger.

This facility is very nice, clean and well kept. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The residents are able to enjoy a multitude of activities and seem happy. I highly recommend this for anyone interested. I couldn’t imagine my grandparents being anywhere else.

My tour of Oakwood Village Assisted Living was fine. I liked it, but they were full, and we had to be on a waiting list. The staff was good. The place seemed very nice and clean.

Oakwood Village Assisted Living was nice with a much older clientele, so Mom had a difficult time making friends and doing things. The staff was real nice. The place was nicely kept and the rooms were nice. The food was not great but fine. It had an activity room.

My Dad was a resident, first in the assised living section and then in the Special Care (Alzheimer's) section. I could not have wished for better care or warmer, caring staff. As a protective, only child, my Dad and I were close and the care and support he received at Oakwood releaved my worries and warmed my heart. Four years later I needed assisted living support me for three months after suffering a stroke. Oakwood was the only place I considered. They consistently exceeded all my expectations.
