My mother-in-law was in The Blake at Bossier City for three years so I know it well. She was in their memory unit before she passed this year. What stood out to me was their personnel. They were very accommodating and took very good care of our mother during the time she was there. Their staff was awesome. They're polite and professional, and they take care of all of her needs. It's a beautiful place, well-kept, and clean. For three years, we never had a negative experience with them. It's costly but they're comparable to everything else around the area. We have tried their food as we have dined there with our mother more than once, and for an institutional kind of food, I'd say it was good. She did some of their activities like bingo and crafts. They had a very nice schedule of activities for the residents. The place has common areas. The assisted living side has 1-bedroom apartments and the memory side just has bedrooms with a bath, and a common area for dining. It was a very nice living accommodation for anybody. I could live there myself. They are top-of-the-line.

The Blake at Bossier City was very nice. It was a new facility, and everything was very clean, very elegant, and very stylish. They had a very nice entryway and very friendly staff. I looked at their dining area and it was very nice with tablecloths, silverware, nice poster chairs, and flowers on the tables. They had a movie theater, a piano bar, an exercise room, an outdoor garden area, a coffee shop, and an ice cream shop. They also had a physical rehab company that has an onsite facility there.

The Blake at Bossier City is a beautiful and very nice place. Everybody is wonderful. My mom has already moved in. The food is delicious and wonderful. There's nothing I can say bad about the place. The facilities are really pretty, and they have anything you want. They take them shopping and have cards, dominoes, Bible studies, and art classes. My mom's room is very nice. The cost is a little bit high, but they offer a lot of things.
