Our Mother has been a resident for about a year and a half now, and throughout the pandemic we felt very confident that she was living in the safest environment possible, which was a huge relief! Her apartment is just the right size to be surrounded by her own furniture, pictures and decor from her home, which makes it feel just like home.

I am choosing Vitality Living Stony Brook for myself. The staff who gave me the tour was very helpful and informative. The studio is what I'd be getting. It's pretty small, but it has two closets and another small closet in the bathroom. It is not furnished, so I will bring in some of my things. The dining area looks very nice and is set up to eat your meals in a small group.

My concern was that their units were all 1-bedroom, and they were very small. The staff was very helpful. The food was fine. I just ordered a cheeseburger with some fries, and it was pretty good. They probably are perfect for the needs of a lot of people, but not for couples like us. I would say it's more geared towards singles. The facilities were quite good. They were clean.

It was beautiful. It's independent, but I think they also assist if you need more. It was very nice. The only downside for me is, it's way across town from where I live, and I was looking at it from a perspective like how I could visit my friend. The tour person, Bryan, did a really nice job. The food was great, but I didn't get to test it. The facility was fresh, clean, attractive, and fairly new. It's modern, it's not super contemporary, but it's updated. Bryan was very attentive, followed up nicely, very personable, and was a good sales person. I didn't meet anyone else, but he was extremely impressive.

I chose here for my wife because the people are very friendly and it looked like a nice place. I haven't eaten the food but my wife likes it. The activities are a little curtailed at this point but they do have them. Everything I know about the community is very good. My wife is comfortable there.

It is a very beautiful place which is why I put my dad there. The service is pretty much what they represented and it's what we expected. The staff is very nice and do their job. There are some workers who don't carry their weight, just like in any place, but the admin staff is great. My dad is in their memory care. The dining area is smaller in the memory care, but they have good food. My dad's room is passable but I'm not really thrilled with it.

We chose here because it was convenient. My family lives around here. It is a lovely place. They have a chef, a dining room, and the meals are pretty good. There are a lot of activities. There's a garden in the back and it has birds in it and butterflies in the summertime. I really like it. The staff is very nice and very willing to help.

It was great. It was resort-quality and was Mom's top choice for a bit. The staff was very nice and made the place very welcoming. We walked around the dining area, looked at the menus, and saw the kitchen staff.

It was great, very nice, and welcoming. I liked the rooms, and the people, but I am not ready to move into a care facility yet. When I am, this would probably be my first pick. Everybody seemed very happy and enjoyed their life. I could see myself living here.

It was very clean. They were very helpful. It didn’t look like there were a lot of activities while we were there, but everything looked very nice, and they had a full calendar of activities. They had a bus for off-site activities, which was nice. The rooms were a nice size and included a nice, big restroom, which was easily accessible, and a small kitchenette. Everything you would need was there.

It was excellent. The rooms were really nice. They had activities like bingo, puzzle, movie nights, and arts and crafts. They had plenty of books for you to be able to read books. The staff was really friendly. They gave us a chocolate chip loaf for visiting the facility, and that was really good.

I had my brother here because its location is convenient for me and our other relatives. I am very happy with the facility and the care that he is receiving in the memory care unit. The staff had been very cooperative, and they have done a good job keeping me informed.

It was very nice, very pleasant, warm, and very welcoming. I guess the location is close to where I live right now, but this would be my second choice.

My parents are here largely because it offered a 30-day respite care as an entry. The room is fine, but it’s just the adjustment from the size of their home to a one-bedroom apartment, but it is functional. The staff has been the best part of a community living situation, as well as socialization with other seniors. The staff is caring, positive, encouraging, and seem to have a genuine concern for my parents. There is no covered entry to the building, and they can improve on this.

We have my mom in here. It's more of a memory care and assisted living facility. A friend of mine told me about it. It's wonderful! It's very clean and the people are just very friendly and very caring. They're very prompt if you ask something of them. They're amazing in everything that they do for their residents. They have fun activities. I would recommend this place.

It is clean and bright and the apartments are designed to allow for both safety and comfort. My mother has been a resident for 6 weeks and has adjusted much better than we anticipated. She is 90 years old and not very sociable. The staff and residents have made her feel at home with their smiles and good humor. Staff knows every resident by their first name. Even my mother was impressed. The staff also made sure our mother integrated into the daily routine by finding other residents for her to dine with. She wouldn't miss a meal without her new friends. ..no small feat when someone is trying to please my mother. It's lovely to see our mother enjoying her new home at this point in her life.
