My mom has moved into Nazareth Home. They're very hands on, and everything that they promised that she would get, she is getting there. She's getting lots of good care. The food's good, she enjoys the meals that they serve. So far, so good. The staff is very attentive. The room is a little smaller than I expected, but it's roomy enough for her. It's OK. The location, as far as I'm concerned, is great. It's very close to the freeway, as far as getting to it and getting as close to where we live. It is nice for me anyway. She gets a lot of attention for her condition, but they also have a lot of additional activities for the residents: bingo, trivia, and things like that. The staff have been great. Mom is really pleased with the services that she's receiving from them. Right now, they're not allowing people to eat along with their parents, friends, or family that are in there. I haven't had a chance to do that. It looks good, smells good, and mom likes it. She does enjoy the bingo, and they do have a wide variety of activities.

not a good experience at all. Communication between skilled nursing staff, family and the hospice team at facility was non existence. Had to have numerous meetings with staff trying to get consistancy with my Dads care. 4 fallls in 4 months and their response well they all fall My Dad's last few days there were a nightmare..had to demand hospice to show up and even getting his vitals taken was a job in itself..our loved ones deserve better from a supposedly top rated facility in the state. Thank the Lord for the few nurses and aides who did seem to care.

My husband is a resident of Nazareth Home - Clifton Campus. I like Nazareth home. It's about 12 miles one way, so that's 24 miles if I try to go up there to see him, and with the gas prices and everything going up, I just wanted to have him a little closer to home. It's been a good experience. They're nice to him, but I just wanted him closer to home. I just thought it would be nice if we could run and get him and he'd be really close. The staff has all been very nice to him and he likes them. He's on a very strict diet, so he complains about that. They only give him a certain amount, but it's because of his diabetes. He needed to lose weight and they just want to keep a close eye on his sugars and his food intake. I do take him something every now, and then when I go up there I try to take him up something special, like a milkshake or something different than what I think he will be getting there at the home. But they give him snacks, ice cream, Jell-O, and they even give him cookies at times. They're very good. I've been in there sometimes when it's kind of messy, but I think a lot of that is him. He lays in his bed most of the time and if they come in to clean his room and he'll say, "I'm all right, you can come back later," or something like that. I'm sure they're short staffed, especially after the pandemic, and I told him he just needs to let them clean his room. But I've been in there when the room is really clean, too. They have a courtyard, and they play games with them. They have music, and they have people that come in and play music and sing with them. They do bingo and the price is right for little gifts and things that they can win. He doesn't really participate in that; he's just not like that. Nobody's perfect, it's not always perfect. To me, it looks like it is clean, but I think there's always room for improvement. They're short staffed and that's hard to be dumped off on one or two people. But they have good staff and I've been satisfied. We have Medicaid, but I still pay them a lot of money a month. I know that it's not the home charging me that money, and it's Medicaid telling me what I can pay or what I'm supposed to pay, and that part I don't like, but it has nothing to do with the home.

most of the employees seem to love their jobs and show this by the care they give the the residents...there were some that didn't however but when the problem was addressed they said "they were addressing the issue"the facility is very clean and it is a beautiful facility but I want to say this a beautiful facility isn't always the facility that gives the best care

I found the Nazareth Home a lot different. It was highly recommended, but it just wasn’t as warm and cozy. My mom always makes a lot of friends, and Nazareth Home just wasn’t at all what we were looking for. It was clean, but the staff was just average. They have a beauty shop, and a workout facility. It’s a completely different world. Their dining room wasn’t impressive. They did have activities every day.

Nazareth Home is where my mother-in-law is right now. It was voted the number 1 nursing home in Louiseville. Indeed, it is very nice and clean. The people there are very helpful. They do communicate with the family members of the resident. The other nice thing, I guess, is if you have been there for a long time and ran out of money, they won't charge you anything. They have nice facilities and space, but the rooms are small. My mother-in-law is fortunate because there is a sitting area outside her room. She was able to have a bunch of family pictures. It was like a greeting area, so she always has company. I haven't tried eating there, but I know that they do have two dining rooms. The one dining room is very wonderful, and the other one is so-so. They also have things for people like arts, crafts, and games. During the day, you have to sign in in order to get into the community. But at night, you have to ring them so you could come in. I am satisfied with their service so far.

The staff was excellent. The food and dining area were excellent. They had handicap access. She wasn't able to get anything other than physical therapy. From what we have seen in Nazareth from my two aunts being there plus my mother being there for rehab, it's an excellent facility. They had the highest level of employee morale, and it's just over and above anything else.

I came across Nazareth Home by word of mouth. It's a rehab and retirement home. It was very clean. They were very nice and caring. The food was delicious. On Fridays, they have bingo, a little dance or a get together.
