My mother has been receiving good care at the Episcopal Church Home. She is initially getting skilled care rehab and eventually will transition to restorative assisted living care. The staff and the nurses have been very responsive. We would certainly give it a recommendation. The facility is in transition, but we've been pleased with the care that she has received. The food has been very good. We have no complaints or concerns. There's good diverse schedule of activities and lots of things happening on a daily basis.

The girl who gave us the tour at Episcopal Church Home did a great a job. However, I specifically told her my mom wouldn't be a candidate for personal care, and she took us there anyway, which I was disappointed about because I felt she didn't listen to what our needs were. The facility itself was very nice, and they're doing some upgrading and remodeling. I had a friend whose brother is there, and she's been happy with it. The dining room was nice and very light, and not like a cafeteria. You felt like you were dining out. They offered daily activities, and they had a schedule that they post.

In my opinion you dont get what you paid for. Staff great at tourand while you are making decisions. I felt that turned on a dime once they got your money and contract. Nothing but bad taste in my mouth for this place

My sister has been in Episcopal Church Home for a couple of months now. It's a very caring staff. Dr.Cornett is a supreme gerontologist. She's in a large two-person room. They don't stay in the rooms very much, but being a shared room, it's a lot more affordable and enough for her. She has dementia, so she really doesn't know much about where she is or what she's doing. She likes music, and they have a cat and a dog; she likes to see them and pet them. They have big windows where they can look outside and a nice flower garden. The location is very convenient. The grounds are well maintained. The food is OK. The desserts are really good. They do a good job with the facility. She's in a locked down Alzheimer's unit, so we don't see that much activity, but they have lots that the people can participate in. Episcopal Church around here comes very highly rated, especially Dr. Cornett; she's excellent.

Episcopal Church Home was a very nice facility, but it was very pricey, and my mother couldn't afford it. We ate a meal there after the tour. The dining room was very nice, like a restaurant with linen tablecloths and cloth napkins. They offered meals off a menu that changed daily. The staff was very cordial and very pleasant. We had a nice tour. The residents spoke to us. We looked at a studio apartment that was very nice and very spacious. My mom and I are Episcopalian, so she liked the fact that there was a priest on duty there almost every day and that she wouldn't have to leave the facility to go to church. She liked the food, and it was close to where I live.

One of the reasons why I choose Episcopal Church Home for my wife is that they best fit our needs. They are private paid for now and depending on how long she will stay there, they are willing to switch to medicate. Another reason is that my son lives nearby. They facility is very nice. The staff has been cooperative and helpful from the application, to admission and now that she is in there. They are very friendly and I am very pleased. Her room was nice, cozy and clean. I will recommend them to others.

This facility appeared to be very nice and fully staffed which lacked at a couple other facilities. The Episcopal Church Home offers apartment living, assisted living, and full care which I really like so if my family members mental status decreases at all they can stay at the same familiar facility. I didn't particularly like the animals in the facility but they said it promoted life and gave a lot of elderly patients company. I have a cat allergy so that was my only issue.
