My mother was transitioned here after a long stay at a hospital to begin rehab. Not being able to visit everyday we really thought was going to hard but we have had the great luxury of being in communication with therapist and nursing from the start. When we speak to her on the phone she is upbeat and tells us everything that she is able to do. The administrator has follow up us on the COVID19 testing. We are all so grateful to the staff that have taken such an investment in keeping my mom safe. f The facility is small however every time anyone visits there are people working on the grounds so which provides comfort in knowing that although we can't go in that work is still being done to make the environment as comfortable as possible. I really can't comment on the Activities because my mother is very limited on what she is able to take part in at this time.

This place is a joke. While there are a FEW professional, caring & compassionate staff members, most of them are rude, superior minded individuals who have no business working in a care giving facility. Guidelines & policies are practiced on a "when I feel like it" level of service. Very misinformed knowledge of patients needs & concerns. Very misinformed knowledge of their OWN responsibilities. Food is terrible & always cold. Always have items left out from the menu. General "who gives a damn?" attitude. I would NEVER come here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Their only concern is PROFIT.

My grandfather was transferred to Bluegrass Nursing Rehab in April and I don’t have enough food things to say about the staff, leadership, and care overall given to my grandfather. Thank you all SO MUCH!

My husband is happy at Bluegrass. He likes it there. They're very friendly and take special care of each person. The food is very good, and the dining area is quite pleasant. The staff has been helpful and friendly. My husband was in rehab for a while and now he's on the extended care. They have a physical therapy room and a program called Moving Get Grooving where they play music and have a couple of the staff get the ones in the wheelchairs and put them in a circle to move their arms and legs to the music. They all have a good time. There are two patients in a room, and my husband is next to the window, which he likes, and there's a bathroom with all the things for handicapped people, plus a closet, bedside table, and dresser for each of them.

I was unimpressed with Bluegrass Care & Rehabilitation. It was small, dark, and very dated and antiquated to me. It was not somewhere I would like to call home. The lady who showed me around was nice. I was not impressed with the cleanliness, either.

My uncle is now in Bluegrass Care and Rehab Center. It's not as good as others. It is clean but when you move through the hall you can smell the beddings, the feces and the urine that comes off the patients. But the staff are good and call people by their names.
