Vitality Living Elizabethtown was very nice. The people that we met were nice, but we felt like it was kind of cold or hotel like, versus assisted living. That could have been because of the time of day we were there. The apartments were nice. The dining area was nice. They have a patio, and it's nice because you had a view of the lake, and we liked that. They seemed to have a variety of things, exercise programs, church, and things like that.

Vitality Living Elizabethtown was my second choice. If you're an outdoors guy, you could walk out on the lake when you walk out. So outside of the back, they got a little back area where you can view the lake. You can walk over to the lake. They have a little boat docked there, but you know when you're 75, 80 years old walking will do very good, but it's available for you. You can just sit there and look at the nice view. That's the nicest view right there. I would recommend that one. I have nothing but nice things to say about that place. I would not hesitate to put my mom there. My buddy just had his mother there last year, but she passed. They had good staff there. Everything seemed to be OK there. From my buddy's point of view, he had nothing but good things to say about that place. The rooms were nice.

I will be moving my mother in, and the facilities around the building are amazing. It's right by Freeman Lake in Elizabethtown. There's a view of the lake, and the lake property all around. There's plenty of places to sit outside of the facility outdoors, and my mom really enjoyed that part of it. The facility itself was hyper clean. All the staff were incredibly nice when we were just walking through. I met several staff members helping and assisting the people living there. The residents were super nice. We went to go tour a kind of like a showroom, and it was too nice. It looked almost like a fancy hotel room, and didn't really look like a space somebody would live in. As soon as we got there, one of the ladies, who is going to be a neighbor of my mom, was like, "If you want to see what a real room looks like, you could come see my room." It wasn't just that one lady, there were several people who were like, "This is how I set up my room," and showed my mom multiple ways that people set up their own room within that space to give my mom a better idea of what it would actually look like. The staff is over the top, nice, and super helpful. They gave us the menus and showed us what meals would be offered, and how she would choose her meals for the week. It looked really good on paper, but we didn't eat there while we were there. The place is immaculate.

It has been very nice and helpful. So far, we've been very impressed and happy. We haven't moved in yet, but my mom has chosen a two-bedroom unit that's very nice, spacious, has nice closet area and storage, lots of shelving, and huge bathroom that's handicap-accessible. They just completely redid it and took out all the old stuff. It's close to the hospital. They have a nice flower garden, and it's right on the lake. My mom will have a good view of the lake. The place is very clean.

I have been in here. It was really well-designed. The biggest thing with it is the eye appeal is very nice. It's beautiful to drive up to, and it's nice when you go inside. They have private rooms. It's almost like an apartment-type situation; they're not sharing. Everyone was very nice. They have everything. They had bingo and all sorts of activities for the seniors so that they keep busy every day and different things for everybody to do. I went there one time when they had the Boy Scouts coming.
