My mom is at Lexington Park Assisted Living. She had moved into the independent living part of it a couple of years ago, and so we just kept her within the community that she's used to. She knows a few people already, so it was just an easy transition. So far, it's been a wonderful experience. Once you're in the community, you're part of them, and they treat us like family. She also likes their food. They offer a variety that she can choose from and then they also have some options available if you don't like what they're having. They just offer so many different dishes so you can find something that you like every day. The facilities are very clean and bright. We had toured some other facilities that were dark and dingy-looking, but this one always smells clean. There's no foul odors at all. The apartments are spacious, clean, and they have large windows. They have bingo, cards, and also some arts and crafts. The staff is very helpful and they really try to find something that everybody can do and enjoy.

My mother is in Lexington Park Assisted Living. We chose it because it had all the amenities that we needed for her. She's in between basic care and skilled nursing, and they are able to supply the needs that she has, and everybody seems very kind and personable. So far, everything has been great. She seems very happy. Everything's been good so far. They could use some updating, like repainting and stuff like that. The staff is very kind. My mother is kind of particular with food, but she seems to be doing fine. She's doing in-home PT and OT right now. The price seems a little high, but I think she's being well taken care of.

Lexington Park and its rooms are very nice and clean. The staff is very good, and they have all kinds of activities. Dad seems to like the food and the variety.

I like Lexington Park, but it was $9800 a month. It is beautiful though. It has really high ceiling on the entrance and the activity area. They have double rooms also. The staff was very good. They assisted me very well.

I chose Lexington for my husband as it is close to family. The rooms are adequate, and the people are nice and friendly. The food is good, they play basketball, and the facility is smaller and a little bit intimate.

First thoughts were very nice staff. The staff were all polite and very helpful. I knew my great grandma was in good hands. The food wasn't the best but we took our own most visits. She seemed to be very happy, she had alot of friends. The linen all seemed to be clean, her room was always clean. The buildings were all very clean, as they had almost there own little neighborhood. The "neighborhood" consisted of about twenty townhomes, the cafeteria building, the administration building, and the main buiding which where my grandma was. The townhomes were for people who needed less attention. The main building was lots of bedrooms, a couple of game rooms, tv room, and library. Everything was up to date, flat screen tv, flat screen computers, good selection of books, lots of boardgames, wifi, cable, lots of newer and older movies. Overall I give it two thumbs up, my only complaint was the food. I have never been to any other, but do have good memories there.

I needed to go to a place to finish my recovery and regain my mobility after being hospitalized for 89 days due to nearly dying of Sepsis. I look back on my stay there as a wonderful experience. I was there in the Post Acute area and received physical therapy twice a day and was never dissatisfied at any time. As my condition imporved I often walked the halls with my walker into the long term care and never encountered unpleasant smells or heard loud noises made by the patients. Those are two things that I've considered offensive in visits to nursing homes visiting elderly relatives. Recently, a friend of mine who is a nurse went to work there and is telling me that there have been no changes and it is a good place to work. Happy employees are the cirteria of any good business. If I ever would have to go back into care, Lexington is where I want to be.

When I arrived at Lexington Park for my appointment, my impression of the atmosphere and staff was not overwhelmingly good. I introduced myself to the woman in the front office and she seemed very reluctant to help me or give me a tour. Eventually, the woman I had spoken with on the phone arrived and clarified things, but I was handed off to a CMA who seemed less than thrilled about dragging me around the facility. She was very nice and did her best to answer my questions, but I did not feel this was part of her usual duties. In addition, just after arriving, I was asked to wait nearly ten minutes because a resident needed the CMA's assistance and there was no one else to help. The physical facility is impeccably decorated and appointed in a classic, southern plantation style. The elegant dining room and large formal living room (with piano) look out over an equally lovely fishing pond surrounded by weeping willows. My guide said residents frequently garden on the back patio, fish in the pond, or have a barbecue out there. Like many others, this facility offers a wide range of luxury amenities, such as a beauty shop, full activity calendar, Wii games and other things. However, I left with the impression that there could be greater focus on the residents as individuals and their personal interests and needs.
