My aunt has been at Deerfield Retirement Community for about 18 months now. The staff is phenomenal. They'll call me if there's a problem with her. Any medical thing that comes up with her, I get a phone call. I have a good rapport with them and they've been very helpful. I feel like they've gone above and beyond. Her room is very nice, spacious, and adequate for her needs. Everything that she needs is accessible. It is always clean and well-kept. Their food is adequate, so I don't have an issue with their food. They do a lot of things there. They go to different places. My aunt plays bingo a lot. They have a lot of activities that don't involve them going out of the community and she enjoys these activities. She enjoys church services and Bible studies. They have staff that takes the residents for walks. They have physical therapy and they help her get on the exercise bike. I can't say enough things about them. We've had a good experience with them so far.

We have friends in Deerfield Retirement Community. We have been inside a lot. We had dinner there. It's an amazing place, but it's very expensive. It's just plush and wonderful. It's got a park, a lake, and just about anything that you would want in a retirement community. The staff is just wonderful. Food is very good. We usually just visit. We're either in the dining room, down in the lobby, up in my friends' room, or on their deck, so I don't know about their activities.

Facilities better than others in the area. Well trained staff, a great chef and delightful menus and food. Includes highly regarded Care Center and Assisted Living facilities. Deerfield is a Life Care Community with Friendly and Caring Residents. Located on 50 acres, with a lake and connected to the most beautiful walking trails in the area. You can view an active Eagles nest, Heron rookery, deer, and waterfowl to name a few in walking distance. We love it.

Deerfield Retirement Community was very nice, clean, and appeared to be very well managed. There were a lot of extra things available, but it's way beyond my price range. The staff who toured me was very pleasant. The dining area was very nice.

Horrendous management from the DON, the ADON, to the Sales Director who pretends to be a social worker. So terribly rude, I wouldn't wish anyone get care from their, which is unfortunate since the actual caregivers/CNAs were very kind. Can't say I've ever experienced anything like that.

You had to pay money in, and we didn't like the location of Deerfield. It was wonderful, and it was a hard thing to say no to. We liked it, but you can't live in two places.

Deerfield was wonderful. My mother wanted to go back there, but they had no availability. They had a lot of activities. The nurses and assistants were very attentive. I really liked it. They had a huge dining hall. I was very impressed with it. She had a private room. It was very nice and homey.

I was able to see Deerfield's rooms and they are nice. They have a nice view with a nice patio. I think they also have shuttle bus for the residents. I was able to eat there and I thought it was very good and the meals are healthy.

This community offered both a senior living community and an assisted living center complete with doctor and nursing staff. The amenities are fabulous and the staff is caring and always pleasant, even the high school kids working in the dining center. My 90-year-old grandmother has plenty of activities to be involved in, and they took great care of my grandfather as he became ill and eventually passed. I can't think of a better place for them to be.

I have been impressed with the buildings and grounds of this facility since it was built as it is located near my home and I frequently drive by. I began visiting when friends of my parents moved here from a small community 120 miles away. This couple chose the facility partly because it was near their daughter, but it truly became "home" to them. The caring staff, and ability to make appropriate arrangements within the facility as health issues evolved, were very helpful to the couple and their family. The husband recently died, and the wife is receiving good support as she adjusts to this difficult change. I would highly recommend this facility and consider it for myself one day.
