Golden Horizons of Ida Grove

Our community has a program called the Golden Wellness Program, which encourages mind, body and spiritual exercises daily to enrich our residents lives. We enhance our residents lives by encouraging healthy living through exercises, walking, and socialization groups. We are involved in the community with weekly interactions with community members onsite whether it is through musical performances, health presentations, bingo and so on. We offer cooking classes, classic bingo, card games, arts and crafts, holiday parties and so on.

The school, clinic and hospital are within half a mile.

Company van and we work with transportation programs in town to assist with transportation as well.

In our assisted living, our dietary program is meticulously crafted, drawing from both professional expertise and the preferences of our residents. We highly value resident input, incorporating their home recipes and preferences into our menu to ensure satisfaction and comfort. With a focus on quality and nutrition, we offer specialized diets including diabetic, gluten-free, low-sodium, and pureed options to cater to individual needs and preferences.

We offer a pendant emergency system to respond to emergency circumstances. We also include safety checks for our residents to ensure safety and security for each residents.

We provide high quality training initially when staff are hired, do monthly in services and education and yearly training. We also train immedietely when there are updates in Assisted Living regulations.

Residents can care for their dogs in their apartments and in outdoor spaces.

We provide two employees each shift.
