My wife is now at Bickford Senior Living. We chose it because it was close to home, and it’s a nice place. It looked fairly new even if it isn’t. It’s clean and well lit and air conditioned properly. They have a lot of programs every day, although I don’t know specifically what they are. Everything is just good.

We visited someone that we knew at Bickford. The people seemed very friendly and very helpful. The facility was very nice. It was smaller than the other one we visited, but I thought for the amount of people that they had there at that time, it was about right.

Bickford is a very clean and pleasant place. It would be a wonderful place for my father in law to be. The rooms are very clean and spacious without being too much. The staff was very friendly and forthcoming with what’s going on. I had a wonderful tour, and they showed me around. They’re really focused on redirection and minimizing the stimuli that can upset people with dementia. I’m very impressed that the staff is certified. We checked out the menu and everything that they have.

My children and I visited this beautiful establishment and even stayed for lunch. The food was delightful as was the staff. During my tour, the hallways lingered with the smells of fresh baked bread and apple pie. The residents were warm and welcoming! There is a beautiful courtyard that is decorated with fresh vibrant flowers, shrubs and greenery. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and am very happy to know that I can bring my faithful companion, Miss Kitty.

Sadly while the building is lovely and some of the staff really like the elderly, the turnover is very high, the building has been under investigation with the state, and they have had raw sewage in various parts of the building from the kitchen to back up in resident rooms
